Seconding what Ron (and apparently many others too... ) wrote.
I went as far as to check ALL forum styles against both Light and Dark themes. The ONLY style where you can see the lines (like Ron mentioned) is High Contrast. Horizontal lines in ALL other style/theme combinations are so imperceptible as to be invisible.
Please make these lines "pop" more in other styles/themes. They are very useful in breaking long posts into neat sections without having to use large headings (not often appropriate) or a mass of line breaks (usually very annoying).
Not sure if it's something new but bookmarks link to the .net domain when on the onion site. I'm guessing it's that way on .st too but most wouldn't notice with the redirect on .net.
Highlight from 4chan tab I loaded this morning, same window width. I don't remember it looking like this last night, inspecting it shows it's still the same SVG as other threads.
Splitting the window to half width jumps it back to the regular previous arrow. It's probably just normal SVG scaling at an exact pixel width of something that makes that single line of pixels at the end disappear. But it's weird that it doesn't show up in every thread. So far I've only seen it in 4chan thread.
It's actually worse when the private tag is inside a spoiler. I don't see any visual indicators at all, and I may have reported somebody on accident earlier for not using the private box outside of A&N.
might be better in the light theme but when you have a quote of a post it has a helpful green line/bar that visually shows the text is a quote and then where the quote ends. Plus small indenting.
But when you do the new thing that links
(?) to a post which shows some of the text of the post, it has a thin black box around the inserted text which blends in a lot and you really only have the indentation to go off of.
It would be much nicer to make that box green or a shade that’s actually visible.
Anything in a dark theme that’s black on black or dark on dark or dark on black night as well not even be there. But that box is there to make it clear what part is the text from the post.
Could we have a quick shortcut to the homepage when browsing threads? See this adorning the top and bottom of the discussion pages:
In the past we had a clickable option to take us to the homepage (that is currently missing). Now if we click on "Interior", we have to scroll all the way up. Make the home icon take us to the top of the homepage, please.
Stealth hides profile pics including in the top bar. So to click in your profile on stealth it's hard to find the invisible square. But there's plenty of space for usernames(or maybe just my short name)
Which if you make the window big enough then does show.
Maybe just have it use a small person icon when the window is too small.
Another high-contrast issue: With the new highlights system, posts that are highlighted add an extra line and look weird. Not sure what caused it but I think this was also an issue before.
The main page top Active Threads table has a redundant Thread 'X' before every thread. Of course the active threads are threads. Also, it doesn't display thread stickers, there's 2 Plagued threads right there.
I just want an anchor link back so I can go back to the top of the page. It's really obnoxious to phonebrowse now because it's faster to type in the damn site than to scroll all the way back up and hit the home button.
I like the stealth style, however I think some little things should be corrected.
The text for users and thread titles in dark mode are white. They had the blue style and it was really pleasing to the eye. The white, not so much. There's no contrast between links and the subtitle ad user names. I'd love for it to return.
