Using ‘egg’ as an insult, now? Is this a cope? Are the troons now trying to gaslight their own allies into joining them?
The user "Lily" replies to has the handle "EggoBagel". Now, why calling him "egg" would be insulting or even funny is beyond me...

Anyway, here are some more dumb Blobby edits:

"egg" is a twitter-specific insult. It means someone who has no avatar, thus the default avatar looks kinda like an egg:

However, this is now obsolete as they stopped using this for default twitter avatars. This also doesn't apply to the person being responded to, as they clearly have a non-default avatar.

HOWEVER, the person in question that Lily called an "egg", does have a fairly recent twitter join date:

So then, Lily is probably referencing the newness of the account with "egg" as an insult in this context. Which fails as an insult IMO, because people join twitter all the time, so fucking what if they joined only 2 years ago?!

And now I've searched Urban Dictionary and found this:

Geez.
