Got her during my early rolls so i got a bunch of elpehs instead for completing the weekly quest.

So far the real bummer is that I am level locked from a lot of content, though I wouldn't be surprised if, like most gacha, gear and abilities trumps level. Guess for now I'll try to clear the Assault, level 15 recommended my ass.

Leveling up early is easy if you have decent units. just swap the early mission stages and upgrade your squads gear from the materials you get. You can also hire high level characters from other players if you part of a club for assault missions (it will cost you 40k credits though)

It does, a friend of mine started playing about 2 weeks before the steam version was originally supposed to come out and with some of my guidance he managed to S rank missions that you need to be lvl 80 for at lvl 55. Same with Hiero in the story, he managed to do it at level 37 (he was very lucky with his initial pulls though, especially with Koyuki as she singlehandedly killed every mob that story mode Hiero spawns with her EX).

Oh also, I'd also like to talk to the newbies about unique equipment. You've probably noticed that some characters have a 4th item that's locked behind lvl 15 affection. Those items are actually a really clever way they've thought of to counter the power creep since most students that have one are launch students or students that were released in the first year, some of them have glaring issues in one way or another and the unique items really help counter those issues.

Nonomi for example has terrible accuracy, you probably won't see it early on but back in the day there was a lot of malding because she could miss half or more of her shots with her EX move. At affection level 15, she unlocks her unique gear which gives her a substantial accuracy boost in T1, putting her in line with other machinegunners, if you upgrade it to T2 (you need some artifacts, 4 of a student's favorite gift and affection lvl 20 to do so) her self-buff adds an accuracy buff to go with the damage buff. Another good example is Izumi, used to be as notorious as the rat when it comes to how fucking shitty she was and how bad you felt if you pulled her as your 3* but her unique gear gives her an insane attack speed boost and at T2 it boosts her basic skill's damage buff a ton, which turns her into a very respectable red auto-attacker.

Trying again with critical TLDR new player guide/tips:
-Many activities are gated behind tickets that restock daily, such as "Lessons" so you should prioritise spending them unless they come with additional AP/Energy cost
-Don't hoard your AP/Energy, I'm still not sure of the exact mechanics but apparently if you have it as 900/100 it will only passively restock if it's under 100 (the latter number increases as you level up.) If possible, spend it in a way that maximises account level EXP.
