Serenade Promenade is being reduced to one week in length for its global rerun. You may think "what's the issue?", but this means you only have one week to farm Idol Mine's elephs. And she's a really fucking good tank at that too despite being a free character, so this has caused some concern amongst people who want to clear Lunatic Goz or Gregorious.
For me? I don't care. I only need her for Geburah anyway and gladly he hasn't come back yet even in JP. But this does set a precedent that Nexon can and will shorten events that provide welfare students because they wanted to. Let's just hope this doesn't spread to Fest events as well.

It's really fucked what they're doing but also if they merged the dead week banners that were supposed to be after Serenade Promenade people would probably be complaining too. Unlike the other dead week banners that they've been merging with the preceeding event recently, in JP the dead week after Serenade Promenade introduced the Fest Archive Recollection banners, where they retired S.Hosh, Wakamo and Mika so you can't get them from the regular Fest anymore but you can pull them during that one week and in the future you'll still be able to pull them whenever they rerun that particular banner (along with any characters that they'll add to it).

further explanation, beyond the onslaught of new merch on the newest JP stream there's a new PV (around the -30 min mark, stream is ongoing atm) which introduces the 2nd part of the prologue, and by extension the liberation of the FOX squad from the NPC jail (but erika is still in there)

Fucking finally, there's so many times I spooked a student that's good for a raid boss that won't be on for months so I completely forget about them or I wanted to test out whether a certain team setup is better than another one for an upcoming boss, I can finally do it now. Another thing I've seen is that they're making the drops for Commissions better.
Since we get QoL features much faster than new content I wouldn't be surprised if we get all the new QoL stuff during our next Fest rather than in 3 months.

A cherry blossom tree has appeared inside the Shittim Chest world. Might be looking to deep into it without much info, but the tree being associated with Japan makes me believe it has something to do with Kuzunoha.

Yeah she was the FSC acting president after all. The in-universe social media suggests that the blonde girl is the new full FSC president, which does imply Rin only held the position for a short time after she was reinstated after Kaya's arrest. But we don't know anything yet until the update comes out on the 21st and we get more details

The theory that I have right now (by the way the PV is out now) is that that Skibidi Toilet TV head guy from the main story part 2 teaser is fudging around with Kivotos and is either trying to merge the timeline together or re-writing it.
This can be schizo theory but the evidence we got is that for whatever reason the acting president is using a brand new patch while the president we know uses the standard GSC logo, which kind of odd.
And also a split second frame with Rin in casual outfit posted above also shows the same photo Rin took with the President. Except the President is gone? Compare that from the last one we see in PV4.
There's also a split second image of Kivotos message board (lmao they even have 4chan) where anons are spamming about "The president is a fake". I mean yeah it's a message board post so it's not true, but still worth pointing it out.
This sounded really schizo but honestly considering how gematria has been following the rules/concept of meta narratives, the idea of someone retconning/merging plot and making a fake kivotos that looks similar yet isn't seems not to far fetched.
Also they have this shot of a watch
It says "Jer 1:11". Maybe it's related to one of them bible passages?

Seriously tho, Jer 1:11 is most likely a reference to Jeremiah 1:11 which goes:
"Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree."
The almond tree symbolizes God's vigilance, as the almond tree is the first which bears fruit and heralds the arrival of Spring. The meaning of it, looked within the wider context, is that God always fulfills his promises and he does so swiftly, he is the watcher of his own word.

I like this theory. It could be that Skibidi TV is trying to overwrite the current reality of Kivotos. It would fit the themes 1984, always being watched by Big Brother & that the "past" is constantly being rewritten by the party.
Also I just realized that almond trees also have pink flowers, so the tree shown at the end of the PV is not a cherry, but an almond tree.

I was going to sperg that substituting an almond tree with a cherry tree is fine because 'Tree of the knowledge of good and evil' was very unlikely to originally be an apple tree, Northern parts of Europe had apple as the main/only fruit available. Bible doesn't specify what kind of fruit it actually was, but apples are an unlikely candidate since they aren't native to the Middle East region.
But yea, while I'm not a botanist, it very least doesn't look like a stereotypical cherry tree. They tend have have long, straight trunk. Cursory Google Images search corroborates this, while almond trees shown seem to branch outwards early.
