From what people been discussing about the new stuff, it really is some sort of bizarro world/rewrite situation.

The new "GSC President" literally just exists and starts assuming her role as the president, and since she doesn't really know much of whats going on beyond "I'm here, I will do my task as the President", she cast doubt about certain things like "Why SCHALE is running? doesn't seem to be needed now", etc etc.

Meanwhile, the Watch that we saw on 4,5th and 7th PV is confirmed to be a device similar to that of the shittem chest that was apparently acquired by the Fox Squad under Kaya's order (who, even when imprisoned, is still having the desire to do her coup) and it was discovered deep inside SCHALE's office basement. Not really sure if the watch is the reason why the new President appeared, but its likely tied to her.

The way the rewrite works is pretty much focusing on the President herself. Since no one knows who they are, everyone in Kivotos just accepts the fact that its *the* GSC President. Anyone who has close ties to the old GSC President like Rin wouldn't be fooled, but it also depends on how close they are beforehand. (Kaya is close enough that she goes apeshit when she sees the new president, stating that she does not recognize her.)

For now, Orwell doesn't seem to be the antagonist. Orwell itself is essentially another form of Delcacomania, who, after losing Golconde to become Francis and then get strangled by Underground Dweller ended up getting a new TV head and become Orwell. I'm waiting for the more in-depth summary, but he is the one who gave Sensei the access of in-game fake xitter thingie where you can keep up with story tidbits during the event story period.

Lastly, the players so far seems to have been overjoyed by the fact that there's now an official CG background for Sensei's bedroom and that one of the mob student (specifically the Hyakkiyako tanned Rickshaw mob) gained a name and seemingly graduated from her mob position.

EDIT:
The "No-guns" thing seems to be overblown paranoia, but then again the PV didn't help one bit with they way they have a gun at the first few second of the 7th PV before suddenly removes them (except the Fox squad) in the entirety of the PV. At least the redditors discussing this seems to believe in their big brain that other PV doesn't have guns and you all just hallucinating paranoid chud, mmkay

Plana refers to the new President as "Mimesis" and actually wanted to resolve the situation as soon as possible, but either Sensei or Arona is willing to let things play out, since as far as we know, the new president is just... doing her job. Sure she's suspicious as of why SCHALE have this big of a power as is, but she's seemingly focuses on getting the Fox Squad to deal with the supernatural stuff first.

Also it is confirmed that somehow, 50% of the crimes committed in Kivotos is done by Gehenners, meaning Mika's hatred of them is frankly justified (lol).

EDIT3: That said, the anons also mentioned them reading through part 1 of the new story event and received some ominous warning (translated to english from JP)

It's probably not related to that UI update, but now the paranoia sets in again.
EDIT: As it turns out, the recruitment changes isn't just the menu, now there is a chance that you will get someone else giving you the roll result.
Are the ominous changes just Plana animations being put into the gacha rolls? I recall a warning window being placed on first entry to Final Restriction Rls. because Plana hosts that menu screen.

From what I get, the warning is a spoiler warning due to the story showing Plana herself essentially asking Sensei/the Player to let her do some authorization stuff, aka its her turn to do the "fingertip touch" interaction that Arona did way back at the start of the game. Not only that, it also has features that is still considered spoiler to that story, which is "SNS Full Link", essentially in-game in-universe xitter that Sensei/the Player can access to oversee the developing story from outside perspective or something which was granted by the TV Head Orwell and the fact that at the end of said story chapter, the classroom Arona and Plana are around has "a mysterious seed", which is apparently the same tree which was shown at the end of the 7th PV, but recently planted and not growing yet.

But yeah, after that spoiler stuff, Plana will appear on the game, either replacing Arona during recruitment/pulling gacha or having both of them appear if you do something like getting a 3* or something. Plana will also appear on the Sweeping mission/bounty/scrimmage/etc loading screen occasionally too.

I'm still not sure if the entire new UI is also related to the spoiler, but considering I see people asking why they dont get the plana and being told to clear the specific volume, its likely that you need to clear it first before you get the new stuff.

Yeah, it's how you needed to clear Volume F to have Plana appear in the Campaign screen.

I remember that at least one poster here mentioned about the tree in 7th PV being an almond tree and the Jeremiah 1:11 (and 1:12) on the watch mentions about almond tree.

Well, one of the item that pops out within the plot of that is "Branch of Shaqed" (translated from JP) which is well... a branch of almond tree (if what google said about it and hebrew jewish shit was right). So yeah, Arona and Plana is staring down at a grown Almond Tree in their ruined classroom space during the 7th PV ending.

We are getting Dress Michiru and Dress Tsukuyo, which means that we are getting closer to that dreaded Volume EX plot and Battle Rio/Himari/Aris & Key banner. Even more so if they decided to a c c e l e r a t e and skipping the sport mari/yuuka and reijo/kisaki rerun banners.

They won't skip those banners cuz they're attached to the event rerun (well, Reijo and Kisaki are) but I imagine they will shorten the event to just 1 week like they did Serenade Promenade.

I have 72K which is enough to splurge on one more banner before EX banners, so would you recommend D. Michiru or S. Yuuka?

D. Michiru or S. Yuuka?
I will say get both if possible. S. Yuuka is limited and gives you a much easier time in INS Goz/Shirokuro and above. D. Michiru thankfully isn't but cost reduction is king in most contents and cheap healing is always welcome. She also complements the current pvp season well.

If you must choose, get Yuuka and hope for spooks.

I know the EN localizers for BA have been slacking lately with typos and inserting the same sentence twice, but at least they aren't on Yunyun Syndrome EN localization levels.

I miss when Localization actually meant something and wasn't just a cover for gay race communism.

Please don't flood me with Political Sperging stickers

I'm still pissed off that they changed Knights Hospitaller to "Remedial Knights" that's such a lame name. Make Up Work Club also has a bit of an awkward name, makes it seem like they learn cosmetology there.
