I think the idea behind "skeet" was it a combination of "sky" as in Bluesky" and Tweet, to have their own equivalent term, but they didn't look into whether it was an existing term.

Out of all people on bluesky, they truly have the most unwarranted sense of self importance. X (Formerly Twitter) is not a niche website that caters to the needs of one particular group. It's a blanket utilitarian social media website with multiple genres and niches on it. The vast majority of people associate the site with news and current events as the primary niche with other niches being a secondary factor. This was the case even before the Elon takeover.

This is obvious to the vast majority of people, but to bluesky artists and it's userbase at large, they are so far up their own god damn ass that they think they're the center of the universe. It's clear that Bluesky is just Gab for SJWs, but these people have been so diluted that they don't realize it.
