I wish the internet didn't effectively purge and memory-hole those Tumblr stockholder meetings back when it was sold. Listening to a bunch of social media suits openly discuss how their ideal userbase is unhappy, agitated, furious, openly political and open to pushing their beliefs into real life because "it will bring more users to the site" is one of the fattest redpills ever stuffed up my ass.

Found a couple of life hacksz

Establish dominance and block the blocklist maintainers before they find you. You’re a needle in a haystack of a million new accounts a day.

When you create an account don’t edit your profile, don’t friend anyone, dont “like” or repost anything. don’t say shit.

Search for maga blocklist

Find all the blocklists. There are about 10-15 of them . Someone could counter this and create a moderation list we can subscribe to with one button just like they do to us. I’d call it something fun like “block blue- no matter who”

Click on the author /owner of the blocklist’s profile:

Block the author/owner immediately.

They can no longer add you to their block list.

Found someone named Aendra or something like that who runs a trans phobe list. Block her.

Then look for homophobia blocklists and transphobia blocklists

Block those authors too.

Now go back and search one more time for maga blocklist

And block everyone screeching about them in the last 24 hours.

Because they’re shitlibs shills and bots that aren’t worth your fucking time anyway. (Like i want to hear their garbage takes during an election or see reposts from jojofromjerz… slut….)

They’re controllers telling the other mockingbirds what to do.

Sure someone can create a new blocklist and add you to it, but remember they’re only allowed to subscribe to 20 and now have to communicate to everyone to unsubscribe to that one and use this one now.

Last, look for troons saying “we hunt together” and “transmisogny” and block them too.

Their search is a little fucked up now. It took multiple passes to find every single maga blocklist.

(I’m NOT “maga” but i can’t stand these idiots.)

I don't ever see a reality in where a Twitter clone overtakes Twitter, unless they catastrophically fuck up by paywalling the entire site or something else retarded along those lines. The people who use Twitter regularly are addicted to the drama, attention, and victim complex it allows them to bestow upon themselves and are entirely incapable of ever leaving.

They've been domesticated by modern social media. They wouldn't know how to live if a social media site actually gave them features instead of spitting in their hands.

Also, on bluesky numbers: most of the accounts on there are not exclusive to bluesky. They are mostly using a tweet bridge or other program to put their twitter posts onto bluesky. They have are basically dumping secondhand trash onto the platform and calling it "leaving." Most of the quote tweets, replies, likes? Those are still left on twitter. And since replies and quotes are a major part of the connective tissue of twitter's userbase, that might end up hurting the site in the long run with how much you can ban.
