Well, at least (based on personal experience at least), on Xitter, you can curate the way the content flows to you. I almost get the "Free Palestine waaaahhh 😭😭😭" stuff in my feed. Not a lot of politics either. Only idiots using flags and that's it.

On bluesky, of course you can see the "Trump won booohoooo 😭😭😭" every step of the way.
