I’d like to think there are plenty of kiwis who have hooked up, and/or shacked up. They’re just too smart to powerlevel about it.

I know about four instances but we were talking about Kiwi x lolcow, Elaine is a lolcow.
I also think the guy got banned for it, because it was a very extreme example of breaking the "don't pozload the neghole" rule.

This is part of it for sure. Youtube has some absurdly weird censorship rules now. Some of those police interrogation / bodycam footage videos have to self-censor in such bizarre ways now. Curses are rarely censored, but "nigger" is (with the exception of non-whites who are permitted to say it uncensored), along with weirder ones like "rape," "murder," "abuse," "violent," "crashed," "burned," "naked," "blood," "urine," "feces," basically all near-clinical terms for anything unpleasant. It's fucking weird.

Another source of this stupid "he who shall not be named" crap comes from the shitty pop culture these dolts grew up with. Y'know how they constantly compare Trump to Voldemort and constantly make retarded Harry Potter references? They do that because they believe the shit in those books (naming evil things gives them power, etc.). Actual belief in witchcraft.

I always assumed that the people who got flack were the people crying about le hecking male gaze and muh coomers, not simply thinking the game was just okay.

Again, "I couldn't handle mild bants so I fled to the pedophile haven" is such a bizarre phenomenon, and it keeps happening.
