It's quite remarkable to me how humorless of a site bluesky seems to be. Maybe I'm a little biased since I'm acostumed to see funny posts and memes of all kinds while browsing the farms and sometimes on Xitter as well, but today I decided to make a blusky account just to see for myself how awful it could be. I browsed for like 20 minutes and all I saw was a lot people complaining and seething over politics, and a bunch of blog type shit by literal who's. No memes or maybe some cartoon making fun of something... nothing like that. The funny thing is, when I made the account the thing asked me my interests and I just marked 'art', and even then somehow decided to just show me people politisperging.

Their "memes" and "cartoons" are all bitching about Musk, MAGA, Trump, and anything under the sun. They're not memes - they are complaints.
One of Musk's few good decisions. Removing the function that allows people to see the stuff you like on Twitter is quite invasive to privacy. Why Bluesky allows people to see what other people like, IDK. At least make it optional for people to see your likes or not.
About the retards we observe by looking at their workplace history, address, online identity, yadda yadda, those faggots bring it upon themselves by revealing it on the Internet. None of us would be watching this if they didn't put it up for all to see on the first place. Besides, we have this rule about not engaging those faggots using the info we have or else we're just as stupid and gay as they are.

I made a Twitter account something like a decade ago. I used it somewhat frequently for a couple months, then more and more sporadically, until finally I pretty much forgot I had it. Aside from not really having the brain for social media apparently (this same pattern happened with any other social media sites I signed up for), the other big reason was that I don't think my life or thoughts are all that important, so why should anyone else care?
Social media truly is one of the worst things mankind has ever invented. As much as I enjoy Elon making lefties shit their pants, it still doesn't make me want to go back to Twitter because Twitter itself is still fucking stupid.

I was similar. I made one about 8 years ago and it was alright, but when they went full on TDS and started banning everyone after 2016 I just left as I was not even enjoying myself that much to being with. Got curious with all the x hate recently and made an account. It's okay for news but it feels like the engagement grift has turned everyone into gypsy spammers. 99% of what I see is people with parody accounts of real people or news aggregating accounts asking stupid obvious questions desperately trying to get engagement money. "Nancy Pelosi just promised to sacrifice Pete Hegseth to moloch, reply YES or NO in the comments if you agree or disagree!"
I initially tried just muting these accounts until I realized for every one that pops into my recommendations that I mute 50,000 more are waiting in the background to take their place.
