Bluesky - "Decentralized" Twitter Alternative. Leftist Tranny Hugbox. "Answer" to Elon Musk's "Fascist" Takeover of 𝕏 (Formerly Twitter).

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Keep in mind, Bluesky growth is artificial and astroturf in the mainstream [...] Mainstream media don’t want to promote Threads and META anymore.
Word is that a lot of the "ex" FBI and deepstate cutout NGO operatives that were canned en masse from Twitter got hired by BS. It makes sense that they would use their media resources to promote it. It's an attempt at a hail mary, because they're big mad at Elon. Trust & Safety is (obviously) the epicenter for feds & censorship at social media companies.
Bluesky snags former Twitter/X Trust & Safety exec cut by Musk
Emerging decentralized social network and X rival Bluesky has just landed a notable former Twitter leader as its new head of Trust and Safety. On Wednesday, the company announced it has appointed Aaron Rodericks, who most recently co-led the Trust and Safety team at Twitter, to this new position.

Though typically leaders below the C-Suite don’t make headlines, Rodericks became known more publicly after becoming the target of a right-wing campaign on X. Influencers noticed an announcement on LinkedIn last year that indicated he was looking to hire more staffers ahead of the coming 2024 elections.
[...]
Before working at Twitter, where he dealt with issues like hate speech and harassment, Rodericks worked on developing capabilities within the Canadian Federal Government for social data analytics in destabilized states, along with researching extremist activity that helped launch the Global Coalition against Daesh, Bluesky noted.

They're saying the quiet out loud now.

They're misinterpreting the idea that people can get along without agreeing on everything or agreeing on all political points as "let everyone even the screaming twitter attention whore talk to you". Sadly, they don't realize they too are the Twitter Attention Whore they hate.

I think some people are just predisposed to only wanting to be in like minded groups and are too thin skinned to be in anything but them. These types won't ever get the idea that getting along with others who disagree with you is possible because small disagreements make them uncomfortable or chimp out.

Capcom actually opened BS Accounts back in February, well before the block controversy and Trump's win.

PlayStation's official BS account opened in February. (https://clearsky.app/playstation.com)

Square Enix opened a BS in January, but they abandoned it in late February (https://clearsky.app/squareenixfr.bsky.social/history)

If anything most of the Publishers I looked up seemed to have opened accounts back in February, and either still use them or abandoned them comparatively quickly. And it remains to be seen how many of them will stick around.

I think I'm really starting to hate the word "rights" now. It's just a lousy placed thing people use to act as if they're in communist Russia or something. Trump's not even in office and everyone seriously, unironically could not stop believing he was gonna round up LGBT people into firing squads and make kissing of the same gender illegal. Leftists straight up ruined the concept of human rights. They made it seem like an Oppression Olympics sort of thing instead of an actual, important aspect of human dignity and life. But again, it's leftists. When aren't they ruining important words and concepts??

As you said, any sort of small disagreement toward things they want you to 100% agree and accept is heresy to them. They can't fathom the fact that it's okay to be wrong, it's okay to not agree with everything someone says. It doesn't make someone right and doesn't make you wrong. But they can't accept that. You have to agree to things you personally feel don't make sense (such as prioritizing titty skittles over the economy) lest you want to be socially ostracized from the left.

You can't feel bad and angered toward these sort of leftists enough, man.

Ah, M. Kirin, the modern sage who advocates for blocking people on Bluesky as if they’re spearheading a revolutionary movement. Truly inspiring to see someone so boldly not use Twitter while still believing they’re fighting the digital good fight. Black-and-white hearts as a profile aesthetic? Classic. Nothing screams “complex individuality” like cookie-cutter symbols and slogans from a bygone era.

But hey, maybe they’re on to something—you know, retro vibes and all. After all, recycling starter-pack opinions from 2010 is definitely how you keep the discourse fresh in 2024. It’s almost poetic, really. Like watching a mime try to reinvent slapstick comedy but only managing to fall into the same invisible box.

Glass houses, though? Oh, they’re not even glass houses—they’re glass lean-tos, ready to crumble under the weight of their own contradictions. But let’s give credit where it’s due: it’s not every day you find someone who can advocate for blocking strangers and unintentionally block their own sense of self-awareness. Truly a clown car performance for the ages.
Late and autistic but this is written with AI, right? Starting with "Ah", The GPT style of sarcasm through repetition, ("X? Oh, they're not even X, they're Y" "let’s give credit where it’s due", puns: "unintentionally block their own sense of self-awareness"), "the weight of their own contradictions", the "—" which 99% of humans never use. "It’s almost poetic, really. Like watching a mime try to reinvent slapstick comedy but only managing to fall into the same invisible box."

I put it into a detector just now:

The latest post in this thread also starts the same way. "Honestly, his “leaving Twitter” saga is like a sitcom that got renewed for too many seasons." - This is what an AI spits out when you tell it to be funny.

Apologies if this is off topic.

It sure sounds gay and retarded like a text AI. You're probably right.

Looked through the post history and there are many more. Again, sorry for derailing the thread. I can say with 100% certainty it's AI, specifically ChatGPT (I doubt the poster paid for API). I doubt anyone here would use "It’s almost poetic, really." to make fun of someone unironically, and I've seen OAI models use that cliche villain line ad nauseam. I'm curious what the prompt was. "Write a funny post making fun of the person in the screenshots"?

That's because it's a LARP, karl.

And what's The Right Thing, tough guy? Getting your brain splattered all over a roof by the Secret Service?

It's so strange that these folks categorize Kiwi Farmers as angry, hostile, violent people when we're just chilling in a niche Internet space, chatting drama and laughing.

It's kinda sad. They won't ever know the peace that comes from realizing nothing anyone says on the Internet has to ruin your day.

Why post on a forum where you have to write to express an opinion if you cannot be assed to write? Is dead internet comint after Kiwi Farms next?

I don't even know if bluesky is popular enough for bots to populate it. They populate everywhere, but the money isn't there. Aside from pornbots, probably.

As an ESL I sometimes write a post, copy and paste it on ChatGPT and ask it to rewrite it with better wording, no mistakes, etc so that it can convey my thoughts better and not be unpleasant to read for actual native speakers. Maybe that user did the same thing?
The message above was written 100% by me, here's the updated chatgpt version:

They won't ever know the peace that comes from realizing nothing anyone says on the Internet has to ruin your day.

That's a Sisyphean task for them. A lot of them are neurodivergent, too, so of course anything said on the internet must be taken deeply and personally and require making a 50-tweet thread over. They forgot they can just "block and move on", which is useless since they really want to talk about the evil conservatives and MAGA people. They know it's something their followers can nod and blindly agree on over and over again. It's less of "moving on" and more "acting like a revolutionary by doing common sense of simply not interacting with someone and treating it like a bigger deal than it really shouldn't be".

What they don't understand as they are playing whack-a-mole with any account that has the word "kiwi" in it is that none of us would disclose ourselves by saying anything remotely transphobic or associating ourselves with the farms over there. I suppose I am not the only one who created a tranny friendly profile there to get all the milk from these lolcows. It's impossible for them to understand that we don't want to interact with them, we just want to laugh at them. The people who call themselves kiwifarmers on Blue sky are probably just some kids who discovered how easy it is to make troons mad and get disproportionate reactions for little effort.

Since troons constantly have to link all their online-profiles and they have no theory of mind, it's super easy to get into their good graces by simply posting some variation of "Kiwifarms bad!" a few times. Fortunately for us, men who convinced themselves they are women, contrary to all evidence, do not tend to be the sharpest tools in the shed.

It is a lot more distracting for a post to read like a homosexual robot than for it to read like a third worlder.
