Th is the reason why I laugh a those who call Bluesky 'calm', 'friendly' and 'cozy'.
Th egregious part comes from liminalspacecadett saying that Bluesky is unwelcoming and bigoted, since those are the same complaints tha they had with X.
That just invites the question of whether the bigotry and lack of welcome comes from the BlueSky crowd, not hose who are to the right of Mao.

Can you imagine how much more insane, detached from reality, insufferable, and freakish the SJWs could have gotten over the next 4 years, had Harris been inaugurated today, and had there been no reversing course on censorship of "social media"? Like if Twitter had remained as crap as it was before Musk took it over, and FB stayed as censorious as it used to be? And companies didn't start retreat from "DEI" and "woke" policy? How much more would be "called out" with "problematic", "racist", "sexist" in mainstream?

Of course SJWs are going to try to have "safe spaces" like "Bluesky" and they could get more insane anyway. But SJW "safe spaces" and influence seem to be going... finally.

Bluesky is just what Twitter was before Musk took over, which is why much of Twitter's core demographic migrated over to it. One would assume that this would make them happy, but since nothing ever seems to make them happy, they're essentially now back to square one, just on a new platform.

In an ironic way, it's probably Twitter which has suffered more as a consequence of this exodus, because as insufferable as they were, now that much of Twitter's core demographic has gone, all that seems to be left is a baron wilderness populated by bots, grifters, and engagement farmers.

How does Goodreads fuel Amazon's monopoly anyway? It's just a site to track books you've read, and its UX is complete dogshit so its not even good at that. Amazon also sucks for buying books since they opened the floodgates to dodgy third party sellers.

1. When they say "proven" that's what they mean, but otherwise I'm fairly certain he got metooed by a bunch of morons with no credibility too.
2. He was president when there were calls to ban Tiktok as a Chinese spyware app but I don't know the exact details that early on. Trump might have just repeated what others were saying and people decided those were his own thoughts, but I'm not sure.

He's been accused by multiple women of being too forward. The most iconic one was when he was caught on a hot mike saying he would "Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything."

It's not exactly Shakespeare, but this is obviously how two straight men might talk to each other (in private) about women. It's juvenile, there's bravado, there's one-upmanship. But everyone on the Left essentially interpreted it as evidence of sexual assault. Everything else is he-said, she-said, and while I would normally say large numbers of women accusing a single man is telling, the controversy around him and this extensive casting of him as a misogynist makes every accusation suspect.

As for Tik-Tok, in 2020 Trump ordered ByteDance to divest itself or be shut down by Executive Order (which I'm not actually sure he can do) as he and other members of his administration considered Tik-Tok a security risk, since most Chinese companies are essentially extensions of the mainland government. Biden simply followed through, though Trump himself has apparently reconsidered.

Of course, the Chinese do not actually collect your data through individual apps, we hack your companies and steal your data in bulk.

1. Donald Trump got loads of accusations that he raped women. To the wok, 'every accusation is a confession'. This especially applies to Katie Johnson, who was a minor. Never mind tha those accusations are just accusations and never were proven to be factual. Not helping was his comment of 'grab them by the' wherever, never mind that he was talking about how women wan to get laid by rich people, not him wanting to take advantage of such women. Another problem was hi saying that he would call his daughter beautiful if she was not his daughter. The Stephanie Clifford case is honestly just confirmation bias fuel.

Because TikTok is a Chinese company, and since companies must, by law, have a commie committee that reports to the CCP, that means that every business from Red China, including TikTok, is a tool of the CCP. There is also hov TikTok harvests tonnes of information which would be ready to the CCP, who have massive spies even in the US. This national security issue means tha there was US legislation in queue tha tried to have TikTok banned, though there are also rumours tha the US just wants all of the private data with no competition. Since Donald Trump's election, not just his inauguration, caused massiv effects (including Hamas uddenly being more submissive to the US), TikTok shut down in a panic... until Donald Trump assured us that he will not shut down TikTok but will instead engane in The Art of the Deal with TikTok. The problem is that, since Donald was upportive of the TikTok ban, BlueSky thinks that Donald is trying to pu the blame of the ban on Joe Biden then claim credit of him 'rescuing' TikTok.

Why would anyone want to bring back tiktok? You can't try to use it for your own spying needs because China isn't that kind of sort-of-ally anymore. They're not going to share. The best you can do with it is maybe keep trannies distracted while you take down the ones who are a threat to national security like LFJ and Rothblatt etc.
