I know a guy in the local tabletop RPG scene who's always protesting on Bluesky because he's gay and feels persecuted.
I don't know whether to try to get along with him because he's likable enough in person or keep far, far away from him because my ticking-time-bomb sense is going off.

Vanderburg, the CEO of Encore Roadmap, refers to herself as an avid new user of BlueSky and reported the post as inconsistent with BlueSky’s community guidelines for respectful interactions. Other BlueSky users have emailed BlueSky CEO Jay Graber and reached out across social media platforms, asking the company to do better.
BlueSky’s website claims the social media app is a Public Benefit Corporation, a type of for-profit company whose goals include positively impacting society. However, age advocates are challenging that claim. The company has yet to respond or remove the offensive post. BlueSky also declined to respond to a request for comment on the recent criticism.

The only RachelB I know is RacieBeep, who is obsessed with Kotora to the point of putting a Kotora Expy in Coromon and is an expert of Telefang.
Even then, she would just use 'RacieB' instead of 'RachelB'. I feel that is just a coincidence.

Out of curiosity, what's your issue with it? The way that it handles controls is needlessly confusing and the cores for most systems from the 2000s and on are always dated and shitty, but I haven't noticed anything egregiously bad about it.

I forgot to mention but the non-Paizo/WOTC online TTRPG space was also the incubator for what I would call 'video essay culture.' The precursor to 3 hour videos with titles called "Shrek II: A Marxist Analysis" voiced by a troon is, years earlier, blog posts written by troons with the same half-ironic tone writing about TTRPGs that are thousands of words long, talking about Lacan etc, including those weird diagrams.
For other esoteric pseud stuff also got ties to occultism that don't need to be elaborated on, and a surprising proximity to queer theory. For the OSR, you have Zak Smith who was literally a porn star. PBTA was made by people whose dayjobs were, if I remember, sex educators. There's a few more examples that escape me of RPG creators whose dayjobs involved sex work or academic sex-adjacent stuff.
A lot of this pseud queer theory stuff is itself roleplay adjacent, see the 'empty spaces' stuff (any bluesky account with 'not a person' or otherwise rejecting humanity) where people wax poetic about how they're a cartoon character but not really and this is a queer identity but it's also not.
This 'video essay culture' is something everpresent on Bluesky. You have the high level of English literacy, the adjacency to academia by people that are mostly unemployed or working service jobs, the familiarity with concepts from philosophy, psychology, queer theory, the occult, etc although questionable understanding of any given concept, etc.
