I think we still underestimate the damage Musk did to the left by buying twitter.

they are now in tiny, barely working and money burning echo chambers and lost soooo much influence.
Musk being involved alot in space and AI only hurts them more because those are the fields of the future and they dont use them because they hate musk so much and are all starving furry artists and self proclaimed experts in something they dont understand.

Not really not even close infact the “left” (if your referring to socialists) have only gained more traction and membership on both X and especially Bluesky. Your giving Elon wayyy to much credit he completely shamed the right after his whole thing with trump and him fucking his ai girlfriend on X also isn’t helping. Also the left is also using ai but they believe it should benefit the working class instead of the elites, specifically look at Pamphlets on X, he uses AI all the time and while it is garbage like when the right-wing shills use it to say “they don’t use them” is just plainly wrong.

the only good feature elon ever added was the community notes and that’s it. As crazy as it sounds I think elon allowing the fascists to do whatever they want was a good thing for the left because it showed how truly fucked up some of these fascists are to a mainstream audience, again also trump basically controls X now and the majority of shit on it is crying about shit nobody cares about (Cracker Barrel and the mass shooter, evendoe the mass shooter was a confirmed antisemitic nazi not even remotely close to the left).
 
Xitter is too big to die completely unless Musk decides to pull the plug. Millions use it every day even if they don't like it because there's still benefits over Jewsky. The average person isnt spending much time on social media each day. Most Jewsky users cross post to Xitter still and Jewsky is more like Mastodon/Fediverse but advertised. Many boomer libtards who joined after the US election have left because its an echo chamber of communists and furfags and troons

I had a feeling Bluesky wasn't gonna last long anyway because I remember all the platforms being made before it, like Parler, Gab, you name it, that literally everyone left (including myself) because those all ended up being echo-chambers as well.

So I just had to laugh from the beginning when I first heard Bluesky was being announced; mainly because I could tell it was the left doing EXACTLY the same thing that the right had done before, and expecting it to work.

Truth Social is the only one out of all of them that hasn't had the infamous echo-chamber failure treatment. Mainly because Trump is the one who runs it and Trump is an icon among a lot of us at this point. Like with Xitter, the only way that dies atp is if Trump pulls the plug on it completely.

all other X alternatives are run by political extremists pushing extremist views with political moderation guidelines. Truth social isnt doing that, they run a clean website for boomer.
they dont need to use a heavy hand because everyone who wishes for a clean facebook alternative is a center right boomer anyway.
you can make lots of money if you are the biggest fish in a small pond that knows its a small pond.

It is, but it's only successful because Trump runs it. Something Parler, Gab and the other echo-chamber platforms never had. AND that Bluesky doesn't have either.

Not only does Trump run it; he actively posts his Xeets there these days. Hence, everyone and I mean EVERYONE goes there just to see his latest Xeet.
