Do you know what pulled Capitalism out of the Great Depression death spiral? Socialism. USA used a little bit. Germany went heavy on it. The Wartime economy the rest of the world adopted sure as fuck wasn't Capitalism either.

We strayed further from Capitalism today with how much of our economy is government contracts and gibs programs. Invoking Capitalism in any way to justify telling people today to work hard and get skills to compete with H1Bs is a joke.

The great depression got worse after the new deal, not better. It was WWII that pulled America and the world out of the depression.

Little history lesson for you.

Stop parroting that neoliberal propaganda. Several major features of the New Deal persist today, including child labor laws, the 40 hour workweek, and Social Security. Removing those things today would be political suicide because they're simply that engrained into our economy at this point. These features didn't immediately fix the clusterfuck of the 1929 crash, but they did contribute to the prosperity of the 50s and 60s.

And again, WW2 did not run on capitalism. WW2 (and the core premise of Smedly Butler's, "War is a Racket") is proof that non-capitalist measures can have a strong stimulating effect on the economy. There are much better ways to stimulate the economy than building bombs, but that would be "evil" socialism. The trick is to spend it on infrastructure and not tranny dilators. Something that actually helps the country.

Learn some real history instead of neoliberal talking points. Economic liberalism literally was the cause of the Great Depression so of course neoliberalism is going to try and recreate the conditions for it.

Hmm yes, what a brave and noble thing to donate money to someone who probably spends it all on steroids and probably 30 different dildos, and with such post as these.

What does this have to do with what I said, which is that the great depression actually got worse after the new deal and WWII is the thing that pulled the world out of depression? Nothing. It's just you writing a spergy political rant.

Sorry I mistook you for someone that actually had some interest in economics and not just a troll being pointlessly contrarian. That's my bad.

I think I found where she got the list of data from. The pdf only has 281 names, so she added about 99 to the bluesky thread

According to this data, about 5320 transgenders have been murdered from a period of 2008-2025, and they of course assert that it is transphobia related. Some probably are. But it seems like they are jumping the gun as most cases appear to be unsolved or the investigation is ongoing.

About 75% of murders are from latin america, with brazil being the highest. About 8.98% came from the United States
57% of murders had an unknown occupation, while 23.6% were sexworkers, 5.2% were beauticians
78.3% of perpetrators were apparently unknown, 5.6% were strangers, 4.3% were sex workers, 3.9% were partners, and 2.6% were from organised hate group / gang / contract killer (a category which was lumped together of groups that clearly should be separated out)

They know almost nothing about the people who get killed and about the circumstances of the case to claim it's transphobia. That being said, I can see a violent maniac in latin america go in and decide that the transgender he happens upon needs to be shot and robbed in a country with laws suited to best avoid prosecuting criminals

Brittany is your typical aggressive BlueSky commie; she celebrates when political violence happens against her enemies, encourages violence against them, spends her time "dunking on libs" when she isn't owning the heckin' Nazis, and gloats when anyone is doxed so long as they have the bad political opinions.

What makes Brittany a little funnier than average is that she does this under her God-given name and inextricably links her online presence to her career, then cries or pretends she's totally unbothered when her various posting enemies make half-assed attempts at doing it to her.

Brittany is a substance abuse counselor (a) at Hennepin Healthcare where she delivers helpful talks (a) about doing shit tons of drugs and having sex. Brit is still delivering presentations (a) as of this year. She is a clear expert in the field of substance abuse having received a DUI (a) in 2009 and later impulsively marrying her husband, naturally, at a bar.

Brittany claims during one of her feuds that it's bad optics to phonebook a widow, marking another recurring theme of milking her dead husband in her posting career.

Brittany's husband is (was) Daniel Sapp, born September 10, 1987 and deceased September 19, 2021. They were married, though not legally, at a bar in Minneapolis on April 20, 2019.

Her story regarding his death is inconsistent but she claims that he died from complications of Crohn's disease and/or complications from his PTSD. Dan appears to have been a raging alcoholic and would have been immunocompromised due to his condition; she helpfully assists him by throwing him a birthday party during the height of the Covid pandemic. At one point he believed he was having a heart attack, and like a rational person would do, requested to stop at the bar before going to the hospital.

Like any sane and normal person, her last picture with Dan is a selfie she took as he is quite literally unconscious on his deathbed. As all grieving families do, a GoFundMe (a) was promptly established so that Brittany could sit around eating Taco Bell and refusing to go back to work.

troonsky faggot demands gibs for all meals, because rice/beans/potatoes aren't shelf stable :story: this retarded nigger spends his days canning potatoes for some reason (bs / a)

That person has never cooked a meal in his life. He just pretends on twitter for likes.
And he writes it for other people that have never cooked a meal in their lives either.

Rice is not shelf stable? What the fuck do you mean nigger?

You keep it dry and and you can store it for 10+ years and it will not spoil.
The most work you might need to do to prepare it for long term storage is toput it in a plastic bag to keep moisture out.
That is how you preserve rice for 10+ years. You put it in a plastic bag and you close the bag.
Same for large bags of dried beans. They keep for basically forever. You don't need to do anything to keep it "shelf stable".

It is good to have a hobby and canning potatoes, but why are you canning 10lb?
10lb is not really all that much. You eat it well before the potatoes spoil.
You do not need to can that small quantities of potatoes unless you do it as a hobby.

Potatoes store well too, we are not talking you can store them for 10+ years, but up until a hundread years ago people that did not have electricity regularely stored potatoes for up to a year. Every year. Just keep them in a dark and cool place and they will keep for a year no problem.
The only thing that happens is that the skin of the potatoe gets a bit thicker over time. That is all.

That is how everyone in Europe used to eat potatoes up until a hundred years ago.
In August you harvest. You harvest enough to last you a whole year, until the next harvest in August next year. You store them in a cool and dark place. Often called a "potatoe cellar". Then every day for the next year, until the next harvest, you go to the potatoe cellar and get as many potatoes you need for cooking the meals for that day.
Potatoes store really well if you keep them cool and dark. People figured out how to store potatoes for up to a year without spoiling a long time ago. People that didn't even have electricity were able to figure this out.

EDIT: Now that I think of it. I actually have a neighbour that buys potatoes once a year and stores it. Once a year, around harvest, he drives over to a farm with his trailer and buys a trailer-load of potatoes directlry from the farmer. Enough potatoes to last him and his family a whole year.
Sure, you need space to store it so you can;'t do this if you live in a small bughive in the city.
But on the other hand, can you even imagine how cheap it is to buy potatoes directly from the farmer, one trailer-load at a time?

Rice off the shelf usually lasts a good few months even in less than ideal conditions. Potatoes kept well last a couple, as well. They say throw them out if the skin starts to wrinkle but fuck that, use them anyway. Just peel them. Perfectly good potato underneath. I've had a bag of onions for 3 or 4 months now and it's fine too, just don't put that in the fridge. Meat? Stick it in the fucking freezer. Done. Could come out a little less fresh than you want when you thaw it but that's not going to kill you. You're being spoiled.

What the fuck is this mental retard even gibbering about? Rice and beans keep for years and even potatoes keep for weeks or months.

"All while cooking two meals, cleaning my house & prepping laundry"

Love how he throws this line out there like it's an incredible effort we should all bow down to, and not like, the stuff most adults do on a Saturday morning.

Also if he was cooking two meals, why didn't he just cook the potatoes? And then eat them, and leave the more shelf-stable stuff for later?

I'm going insane here. Who cans potatoes? If you really wanted to store them, why not just cook them and then freeze them so you at least don't have to worry about getting botulism from a can of pale soggy root vegetables?

What the fuck is this mental retard even gibbering about? Rice and beans keep for years and even potatoes keep for weeks or months.

It sounds like he's talking about cooking those ingredients in mass quantities then trying to keep them for a long time for future use.

I'm not sure why he's doing that, because I refuse to believe anyone is so stupid they don't understand that rice will not rot if you just leave it in the bag.

Potatoes store even longer if you don't dig them out of the ground.
