This really irks me. Like these faggots bitch and whine about democracy how it’s under threat how it needs to be protected and yet here they are demanding that if you don’t life in hell hole you don’t deserve a say in anything, you don’t deserve a day in where this country is headed. It's interesting how the "For Dummies" book series just kinda turned into trash at some point. Like, I'm sure some of the books are still somewhat informative resources but I get the impression that they just shit out guides for whatever now. The target audience of Troonsky does not overlap with the demographic of people who would be "For Dummies" customers. Bluesky users are all terminally online faggots and if they needed help with their flavor of the week Twitter replacement they wouldn't go to a brick and mortar bookstore to buy a printed guide for how to pick an le heckin funney username and upload a tortured JPEG of themselves that's been saved and resaved across four Facebook accounts and five iPhones.

Humble Bundle had a bunch of Dummies books on sale recently and it was all stupid shit like "Adulting for Dummies" and all these other permutations of concepts, rather than how to actually do practical things. (I just checked to see if the bundle was still up and it's been replaced with some generic music one instead.)

Whenever I watch a youtuber having a really shitty take or go all political out of the blue, I play a game and see if they have a BlueSky account in their channel's bio. Sometimes, you have to go a step further and go to their X/Twitter page to see they moved over to BlueSky because daddy fascist Elon is a big meanie, but the usual suspects almost always end up congregating there all the same. Instantly makes me lose whatever respect I had for them.

There's two main people on the right, people in America, who believe in the Republicanist ideal and believe that suffrage should only be given to land owning men. And then people like myself who believe democracy ultimately was mistake and the experimentation of democracy. Has ultimately just led to short term thinking.
These people just believe in bureaucratic oligarchism with extra steps. With some communist characteristics.

Pretty much. Once you realize that many people don't deserve rights- let alone the right to vote- democracy very quickly loses its luster. And imo if a society is heterogenous in its ideals and values to the point where popular vote is necessary, it's likely to face many other hardships as it grows.
