Her 'waffles' routine was a pretty good redemption arc, the one where she just started talking about waffles when annoying lefty schizos would interject with some screeching about the latest new weird performative social justice cause.

Very interesting that a month ago they had "Accountability Initiative" at the top of the website with a red warning box. But if you visit it now it's been changed to "Making accountability visible, one account at a time.", and it's tucked at the very bottom in a small font. I'm sure that's just a heckin' coinkydink!

I love things like this because it perfectly encapsulates leftist projects and movements at their core - leftists are incapable of implementing ideas that are good and want to make people get on board voluntarily. They can only subvert good things, and when said thing has been completely ravaged, punish people for daring to recognize it's inferior. Also, couldn't they have re-prompted whatever LLM generated the site to change the gradient background to blue for Bluesky? Why purple?

Unfortunately, with likes only in the tens and dropping after 2 months, it seems like guilting each other to stay in their internet ghettos has not yet taken off among our pinko friends. Doubtful. It's no secret that the same people who by and large have migrated to Bluesky are the same kind of drama-loving crybullies that made Tumblr an awful place to be, made pre-Musl Twitter an awful place to be, etc. Nobody outside of this crowd and their hugbox believed that social media was made toxic by the "far right neo Nazis" or anything- it's pretty much always been purity-spiralling, terminally-online leftists doing the majority of the damage to online discussion.

I fully expect this person to be harassed and shouted down by the "Bluesky is sooo much better than yucky problematic twitter" people, blissfully unaware of the irony. They know that they have a toxic, low-engagement site with some of the worst people imaginable, so they have to constantly prop up this "we're the good side! We're the good social media!" to convince themselves, hence why they're so vocal about how great it is and (more importantly to them) how terrible twitter and it's users are

The leftists have staked their claim on every social media site, but one thing they don't have is their version of Null.
If there was a leftist version of Null, that person would create the website that would function like this forum but would be tolerant to all the LGBTQIABBQ+×÷= folk.

It's truly impressive how they take something you could have a reasonable discussion on - "is this bill too punitive, does it infringe on rights?" - and instead they go completely off the rails and hyperventilate over their own made-up nonsense.

It's always put SO dramatically too, "they don't want trans people to exist", "they want to make us criminals for NEEDING TO PEE", "our ONLY OPTIONS are house arrest or poo poo pee pee rape and detransition dungeon". They don't realize that the most popular and successful political messaging was the OPPOSITE of this, where they said something like "we're just trying to live our lives in peace", because it made it very easy for normies to look at it and find it simple to agree with. Now, instead, it just takes one of these messages to strike someone as a bit exaggerated, make them question things a bit more, and go "oh wait this is all just made up shit".

How many people here on the Farms had basically that same trajectory over the last decade? In like 2014, the worst cases were usually the Tumblr genderspecials, and the prevailing thought was "well these chicks are silly and attention-seeking, not like TRUE AND HONEST transgender* people!" Then it got pushed in the wake of gay marriage, nothing was good enough, Clown World adopted the Tumblr tucute** mentality of "you're trans if you say you're trans", and also troons rape at like 100x the rate of the general populace. Every news story is some balding 50 year old dude with his old man boner in a bikini saying "UwU they kicked me out of the gym! I was just trying to pee!".

Inshallah, every time one of them posts this stuff then it means some otherwise normal person reading it, going "well obviously it's not ideal, but you can still use the men's room? surely people would be understanding?", and getting told they're a fucking Nazi for wanting trans people to kill themselves. And once you realize that 80% of liberal politics is just people swearing that we're one step away from total KKK child marriage holocaust, no matter what happens, you cannot ever go back.
