I made an account after it went public for following artists (real art of landscapes and nature and such, not troon anime furry shit). My feed, every time I open the app, is 2-3 posts of people that I actually follow, and then it's literally infinite leftist propaganda like I'm on reddit. All of it is "Orange diaper pedophile man is Hitler" and blaming Israel for everything. No matter how many times I told it I wasn't interested, it would stay the same. I only open it when I'm bored to see if I can beat my record of posts before seeing a mention of Trump.

Gross. Modern Harry Potter is trash, though not for the reasons these people hate it. That Hogwarts legacy game had a tranny as an NPC in the main quest line. The new show is trying to normalize a very non-white Britain. I don't even care to look at what other shit they're trying to sneak into that show.

I'm putting it on loop, even though I dislike modern Harry Potter anything. I will watch it, I will watch it again, I will like it, I will comment on it, I will comment on it again, I will comment on it so nice, I'll do it thrice. I will interact with the video so much that it gets into everyone's recommended just by the sheer interaction I pose with it that the average viewer retention goes from 10% to over 500%, even with the hundreds of thousands of people viewing it. Philosopher's Stone was my introduction to reading novels when I was 8 years old. My kids will definitely check it out, I'll make sure to let them try reading it when they reach that age. The first three books are very dear to me.

I dusted off my Bluesky account and realized that my feed was only free of political and Islamic content because I filtered political/degenerate keywords and blocked every single poster of that bullshit I encountered. I only used the non-algorithmic timeline feed of followed accounts. Then I psyopped myself into believing that Bluesky's algorithm curation had improved. "Glad" to see that it's still the same degenerate libshithole to vanilla users.
I highly doubt the "10% politics" estimate from the COO is correct, unless she is counting the activity from automated feed bots that mostly go ignored and using a very narrow definition of politics (libs believe that feminism, LGTVBBQ±, shitskin worship, fuck laws and borders and shiet - is "being a decent human being", not political). Content that real users interact with is extremely political and no amount of "nuh uh look at the soytistics muh 10%" will fix the user experience.
Rowling approves of the niggerification/jeetification/fagification of the HP world in the game and TV series because she's a shitlib on every issue but the tranny one. The old books and movies are fine of course, but I wouldn't promote the new brown slop to kids. Even if this makes me more like a seething Bluesky troon than a carefree Chad, I won't support a series whose creator subverts its legacy to smear shit and fag glitter all over its characters, even if it makes the troons mad.

@Iodine Agreed. I just never saw any fandom content whatsoever when I was growing up with the books. I had (parent monitored and very expensive, therefore it was just an hour a day) internet access, but I never thought of looking up like-minded people, or seek fanfiction or anything similar. To me the books were all there was. I didn't see any movies or cared about them. I also didn't care about the author. I loved reading the first books and feeling like it was me myself and I that was getting lost in them only.

It's funny because the mindset with this Harry Potter stuff is the same with Chick-Fil-A being "homophobic chicken", just fewer steps. In that case, people were upset that some senior in the company donated their personal money to a religious organization that, among other things, did not support LGBTQQIAPP+ causes. Ergo, buying the chicken indirectly gave that guy money, which indirectly gave the organization money, which indirectly applied pressure against gay people somewhere. In the JKR case, she gets money from licensing out the IP, which companies will do if they think their projects will make money; JKR takes her own money and uses it to support causes that, in recent years, directly conflict with trans causes in the UK. Therefore, watching the Harry Potter HBO show means it gets good ratings, and more projects will license the IP, which makes JKR more money, which she gives to allegedly harm trans people in the UK.
Okay, duh, normal stuff right? The thing is, this has no logical stepping off point. Going back to Chick-Fil-A, the bar was set at "whole company evil" because one person in leadership donated to causes - on their own, privately, not part of the company - that are not directly opposed to LGBTQPIPA+- causes, but merely don't support them as much as possible. What if it turned out the head of finance at McDonald's had donated to a Democratic Senate campaign for a white man running against a black woman, would that be misogynoir? Would McDonald's become the racist fry place? What if the regional manager of half the Wendy's in your city moved into a historically black neighborhood and helped drive up property values, is it a Gentrification Burger but only if you buy it from one of the places west of the freeway?

If they're serious about their organization being a "public good" instead a normal corporation, and trying to focus on the AT protocol aligns with that, then that's not a bad thing.
Unfortunately the platform is being heavily gamed by NGOs to push their bullshit agendas. Whether they're doing this with or without Bluesky's blessing is unknown, but all of the fake users makes the site unusable.
