Bluey Thread - aka MLP for furries (you can't deny you are this time)

There is a blink if you miss it episode where there is a homeless dog.

It was just a back ground character.
wow, how progressive!

but how about the queer characters? surely there must be gay kids or gay dads or whatever.

Holy fuck there's a thread here for this damn show lmao.

My kid watches this show on repeat. All 50 episodes...at least 20 times a day.

I've seen bits of this in my doctor's waiting room, and my impression is that it's a kid's show. Like, a little kid's show, aimed at five year olds, since it had riveting high-brow concepts like 'be nice to your sister'.

So it's Australia's answer to Peppa Pig? Interesting.

I'm sorry but I can't see most shows like this as anything more than degenerate horny furry magnets after trawling the Farms for so long. Doesn't matter if they're good or not, as long as they have popular anthro species in them I know at least one furfag is enjoying it way too much.
It already has degenerate fans. I'm sure they're in the Deviantart/Furry horrors thread.
It has been annoying seeing Bluey tat everywhere in AU, seems like our new great kids export since the Wiggles. Both of them being so for absolute babies yet going the furthest internationally is pretty funny and a sad state of affairs, where's the autistic OC's for Blinky Bill, Lil Elvis, Plasmo, or Deltora Quest (this Aussie Harry Potter knockoff even somehow got an anime adaptation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deltora_Quest_(TV_series)
Also Bluey is getting a game:

Let me guess, the fans want to fuck the dogs.

How childless adults reacted to the last Bluey episode is proof they are the new Bronies. Yes bluey fans want to fuck dogs. Especially Bluey and her dad.

At least with MLP, cringe as it is, I can understand why people (animation fans, mainly) gravitated toward it because Lauren Faust heralded it at first, it starred fan-favorite voice-actors, everyone was shocked the Ponies had actual character to them, and it had nice animation. You also hadn't yet had people crying over every little thing it would do, something that I think took multiple seasons before you started hearing about that. It also gave animation fans hope that there were going to be good shows well into the 2010s, of which the first few years showed promise.

Bluey looks comfy and adorable, sure, if you're of the age demographic, and it doesn't make parents want to die after seeing all that garbage this past decade pushed out. But how fucking embarrassing that childless manchildren are sobbing over every single episode simply because they have daddy issues and instead of taking those lessons to heart and reaching out to mend their relationships, they all wish they were tiny blue dogs with parents who unconditionally love them and live in a perfect world where no one hates each other—except for those brown Muslim dogs, I guess.

I prefer the OG bronies over whatever fandom this is, honest-to-God. At least the bronies I knew from that time were chill and made good memes, Bluey adult fans are just fucking insane and are pushing away families in the name of cooming over their victimhoods (and pedophilia).

but has there been any queer and/or poor dogs on the show?
Apparently there are gay dog mums on the show now according to some YouTube clickbait I saw. I'm honestly shocked it took the Aussie ABC this long to put propaganda like this in a kids show, what a shame. Definitely deserves the fanbase it'll have now...

Opinion I found on this show:
"i think if any adult has an opinion on bluey beyond 'this is decently executed animation for babies' or 'my baby likes it' they should be executed"

I saw the Christmas episode on a playlist of tons of random Christmas episodes
seems okay
was a little weird for me at first when the Christmas episode be a big pool party with grilling on the deck, but then I remembered it's the bottom half of the planet and winter is in July

And even then I've heard some comments on Matt walshs take on that episode argue if the character in question who said "me mum's " meant moms as in two or mom's as in plural with a possessive apostrophe, beause of the Australian accent. It's not like peppa pig where a character flat out showed the audience a drawing and plain as day spelled it out for us and I quote; "this is my mummy who's a doctor while my second mommy cooks the spaghetti."

(Ugh feel like I need to vomit after typing that)

I think it's just the secondary audience grasping at straws because they want bluey to validate their identities and be just as woke and pandering as the other western cartoons they binge on.
