Bob Chipman / Robert Lewis Chipman / MovieBob / Game OverThinker - "Coastal Elite Thinker" who wants conservatives, Christians and manual workers eradicated. Universally ignorant; cannot tell reality from sci-fi. Sore loser with short fuse. Odious Disney shill. Tranny chaser and general creep. Fat and diabetic.

NaggotFigger's updated consoomer meme makes me feel compeled to update the OP. But I'd like you to check my rough-and-ready update before I put it live.

⭐Under Section 2A: Public / Political Events

💠2.A8 – Donald Trump’s second term (2024 onwards)
Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 election, but the four years under Biden’s rule did not noticeably improve Bob’s mood. Quite the contrary, he was constantly frustrated that right wingers did not vanish overnight. Trump ran again against Biden in 2024; the latter stepped down after his worsening mentally state was displayed to an aghast audience during the first Presidential debate. Biden’s replacement, Kamala Harris, coasted on her racial and sexual identity and ran a campaign powered by out-of-touch showbiz elites. The public let their displeasure show at the voting station: Trump swept across the nation, not only gaining more electoral votes than in 2016, but had more popular votes than his rival (that Trump lost to Hillary Rodham in terms of sheer vote count has been a sticking point for liberals like Bob). The House of Representatives was likewise dominated by Republicans.

Elon Musk, which Bob hates with a passion, has lent his financial and moral support to Trump throughout his campaign. As a result, Trump erected an “advisory commission” to be co-chaired by Musk. The commission, Department of Government Efficiency (with the acronym DOGE named after the meme dog) is to supervise federal spending.

All these should have been devastating news to Bob, yet unlike 2016, he did not explode. Like many liberals who hate Twitter / X, he moved on to the social media platform BlueSky, where he commiserates with like-minded individuals, daily reminding each other that they are smart people living in dumb people’s world.

⭐Corresponding emendation on the section 2.A6: "Elon Musk Acquires Twitter (October 2022)"
...However, he did not really abandon Twitter until late 2024, after Musk became extremely active during Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

⭐Under Section 2B: Personal Events

💠 2.B6 - “Eyeballs-deep in debt”
Since about mid-2024 Bob kept casually mentioning that he was heavily in debt, and that only his intact moral sense has prevented him from doing hack jobs. He specifically said it was not college debt, but was otherwise extremely vague: something about Trump, something about "his own fault". The most bizarre thing is that he says he was still paying the mortgage of his mom's home, which he lives in.

⭐Under "Bob's memorable phrases" (Section 3.4)
“Tetris Castle” – for which he means, of course, The St. Basil's Cathedral. During the Russo-Ukraine war (2022 ongoing) Bobby shares the wish of most liberals that Russia be totally annihilated, but he is willing to spare the “Tetris Castle”.

⭐Expanded section of Elon Musk (Under "Bob's Obsessions and Loathings")
Musk was devastated when one of his sons, Xavier Musk, turned transgender at the age of 16 and became estranged from him. Elon then became a very outspoken critic of the transgender movement, especially the coordinated campaign by activists to turn children trans. This of course did not endear him to liberals.

Musk has donated a large amount of money to Donald Trump’s 2024 bid to the White House (see Section 2.A8 ), and appeared alongside Trump during public appearances. This further enraged liberals, including Bob, who joined the mass exodus away from Twitter.

yeah because of course Lesser Bro had to spend SIX FUCKING FIGURES renovating Grandma and Grandpa's old house, plus putting in needlessly expensive high-end appliances, like a fucking SMART FRIDGE.

Chipmans are bad with money. Horrifically bad. End of.

Bob, that doesn't apply to you, because he actually wrote. You on the other hand only talk about wanting to write, going on twitter or Bluesky now, and demanding that outlets and studios give you money for your half-assed ideas. If you want to be a writer, you have to do it for yourself, without anyone giving you money for it. Then they'll judge your work and say whether or not they want to work with you.

That you're 43 and still haven't worked this out is sad, but unsurprising.

Bobby has an advice for politicians, including AOC -- don't campaign on social media. Although she hardly needs the other part of Bobby's advice: lie to win. Lying help you win the stupid, while Thinkers like Bobby, who sees right through your lies, will sympathize.
lie.jpg
So with most of the country being opposed to gay marriage at the time, including most Democrats, it's not unreasonable to assume that Obama himself wasn't a big supporter. Hell, California voted for a proposition to ban it in the same election, and that's the biggest blue state in the country. If you want some uncomfortable irony for Bob, blacks were the demographic group with the greatest percentage in favor of banning gay marriage, and it's theorized that high black turnout due to Black Jesus on the ballot helped it pass. I wonder if Bob has any choice slurs for that particular group?

But Bob was a very smart man who could see through those lies and figured out that Obama was secretly all for the fags getting hitched, and he knew that Black Jesus would make it happen...despite the fact that he did not get any legislature to that effect passed through Congress and signed into law, not even when the Dems had control of the House and Senate. It didn't even happen at all until near the end of his presidency where, thanks to nominating two of the dumbest retards ever, the Supreme Court magically found the right in the Constitution and inflicted it on the rest of the country whether they wanted it or not. And even then, it still wasn't enshrined in federal law until Biden, and only because the reversal of Roe v. Wade spooked them enough to actually get off their asses and legislate like they're theoretically supposed to do.

So yeah, I'm sure Black Jesus is fine with taking the credit, but I don't think he actually cared until public opinion swayed enough to where he wouldn't lose that many votes for supporting it (didn't hurt that he had such a shitty opponent in Romney). Unless, of course, he had another reason for being a secret supporter of gay marriage...like, say, being married to a man? (Just kidding. Maybe.)

Bobby is desperate to get into the film critic "starter pack".

How can one say no to such a handsome, virile hunk? His piercing eyes sees through your hidden passion. If I were a woman I'd have become Niagara.
I'd like to note Bob's phrasing here: "I'm just lil' ol' me at my own channel right now." Trouble in Theorist paradise, perhaps? Have they finally realized he provides nothing of value and kicked him to the curb? A man can dream.

Bobby makes another affirmation of his faith.
wii.jpg
Shall we say the NES is the Old Testament and the Wii is the New Testament?
Don't get me wrong, I'll call a success a success, and the Wii certainly was a success, but I'd argue not as much as Bob would like to believe, and certainly not "saving console gaming from itself," whatever that's supposed to mean. It was the console everyone wanted when it first came out, a wild phenomenon that people couldn't stop talking about, and its success likely caught Nintendo off guard and led to scarcity for its first couple of years. But once the novelty wore off, people were left with an underpowered console with a gimmick that proved less interesting than originally thought, and many of those initial purchases ended up gathering dust until they were disposed of, never playing anything other than Wii Sports. After years of slumping sales, Nintendo doubled down with the Wii U, and it flopped dramatically, probably not helped by the awful name.

Meanwhile, by the end of the seventh gen, the PS3 and 360 both ended up with good sales numbers within striking distance of the Wii's total, with the PS4 riding that momentum (and the blunders of the Wii U and Xbone) into a total win in the eighth gen. Nintendo did manage to turn things around with the Switch, but the PS5 is starting to outpace it recently, and we'll have to see what the supposed Switch successor will do. It's also worth noting that the Switch effectively killed Nintendo's handheld market by combining it with their home console, so that's a decent number of machines they're not selling anymore.

So no, I think console gaming was fine then with or without Nintendo, and it's fine now. The idea that Sony would have just given up making consoles if Nintendo were gone is preposterous as well, lest that retard forget how much of a phenomenon the PS1 and 2 were. Why would they kill off a golden goose solely because their rival stopped? Fucking business genius over here.
Of course, what this writer failed to mention in his little affirmation post was that he was actively writing this whole time, something that Bob seems not to realize he needs to do if he wants to be anything other than a YouTube movie reviewer. Seriously, Bob, where's your screenplay? Where's your novel? I know you've posted a fucking exorbitant amount of tweets over the last decade, certainly enough to fill quite a few books, but that's not getting you published. Brick by Brick doesn't count either, that's just you blathering about a video game and your failures in life. Hell, going by this author's timeline, you're eight years behind schedule since you've yet to sell a single one. Tick tock, Bobby.

(Slightly ninja'd but whatever, it bears repeating.)

The legendary Bobby the Boston Bruiser can take care of himself in the Badlands, such as LA after dark.
tough.jpg
LA sucks. Boston sucks. Big cities suck. With how Bob goes on about how life outside of the city is a dystopian hellscape, I can't help but feel it's actually sour grapes. Deep down, he knows he lives in a godawful place surrounded by obnoxious Massholes and slowly being run into the ground, but he has to keep up the facade that he's actually a superior cosmopolitan hobnobbing with the elites of society. He deserves his misery.

I consider myself a 90s kid but there's a whole bunch of shit I never knew about that was going on at the time. Tupac and Biggie dying, the end of the cold war, the shit going on in Croatia and that area, Bush Snr being president, there's a ton of shit that I barely noticed because I was a kid and had no interest in it. But I had access to cable channels that played 80s cartoons and sitcoms, so I probably have about as much knowledge, if not more, of the media in the decade than Bob does because I doubt he was into sitcoms that weren't animated.
Some people claim that they have a photographic memory and can recall you things that happened when they were 5. But like you're saying, they are remembering things through the lens of a 5 year old. I was born in the 90's but I promise you that I can hardly give you a good account of the state of the world pre 2001 and even then it will be a very localized, very personal experience.
Even then, don't forget that you're asking someone to explain to you the state of the world as they remembered it when they were 14. I'm sure there are still a lot of people who would tell you that Bush Jr was a fascist that ushered a police state because that was the style at the time. I'll be honest, I'll take Jack Thompson a million times over whatever the fuck we have now in the tripple A game industry. Everyone saw him as a Quixotic figure at best or a time wasting clown in most cases. Bob believes that him posting on the gamefaqs forums personally stopped censorship in vidya and ushered a new age of...call of duty clones?

Anyways, if Bob is reading this here's some advice: start a series about the mid 2000's game culture. Throw your name around as someone "from the time" and just go, "oh yeah, I remember [X Event], it went something like this".
Rebrand yourself as "Sagely, old man Bob" or something like this; do a video intro with one of your dumbest takes and go meta, "Wow, this guy needs to take a chill pill...oh, that's me". Try to accrue some goodwill and settle on the niche of giving your account of the mid 2000's to the new generations.

That's what I would do if I suddenly Freaky Friday'ed into Bob's body (and the gun jammed, of course).

About Bobby's recommendation that politicians lie more. Well the Dems did exactly that -- and they lied to Whorris. A&N.

Hey Bob, Afghanistan says "hi". This shit right here, mr "oh-so-evolved-brainland-cosmopolitan" is the embodiment of every Ugly American stereotype under the sun. After 5K+ posts no one in their right mind will say he is just doing and Andy Kaufman routine. This is him trying to pretend to be dumb while laying down some profound wisdom when in reality he is just dumb.

The nly good thing about BS is that it is a hell of it's own making. All the lefties and troons decided to make a gated community. Bob is now in a prison where he has to walk on eggshells and I mean a literal prison: if a troon wants clout or doesn't want to appear weak, he will dunk on Bob; if there's a slow news week and a new purge/struggle session is needed then Bob better not post anything. Bob is the prison bitch of the psychos who decided to live in that commune. I just hope that the stress of not being shanked every day of the week gives him a heart attack.

And here is the thing that I find most pitiful about Robert, this whole little creed he "developed" to explain the world as he sees it, he seems to be so stupid that he doesn't get how infantile it comes across.

These blatant self-service "philosophies" (I'm being kind here) are dumb because it narrows everything to vision that focus a single person sense of self, so when you try to vocalize it you come across as clueless colossal arrogant prick, and even if you "own" your arrogance as Robert seems to play, the rest of the world will just see you as you are, a childish prick with delusion of grandeur.
I've said before that Bobs outlook is more what you would expect from an edgey teenage know it all. He had decided early on he had things figured out and just stopped growing as a person. The only thing that has really changed about him is that he has more and more impotent rage to deal with.
I don't think that he is too dumb to realize that its infantile, he is just too invested in his "righteous" anger to let it go. We see glimmers of self awareness now and then, but he just defaults back to its the subhumans fault. Anything else would mean he would need to accept some responsibility for his misery which would mean coming to terms with his irrational rage that he has harbored since childhood. But impotent rage is basically all he has.
The fact is that the whole "Thinker/Believer" nonsense is merely Bob's black and white worldview gussied up with a garish coat of paint to make it look like it's anything other than "the world is split into people Bob likes and people Bob hates." Any, and I mean any examination of the concept causes it to fall apart.
This is 100 percent what it comes down to. If you upset bob you are an evil stupid believer. Prove your worth to bob and he regards you as a good smart thinker. Its all emotionally driven and its why he comes off as such a hypocrite to anyone with half a brain.
No need for consistency of thought when you alone are able assess the worth of a human by scrolling through their twitter timeline.
For instance: Fred Rogers -- a Presbyterian minister among everything else he did -- was clearly a Believer. Ted Kazcynski, who was such a brilliant mathematician that he's still cited in scholarly works, was clearly a Thinker. Who's the good guy, Bob? The one who educated and uplifted millions of children, or the guy who sent out lethal mailbombs?
I know you said you didn't care, but bob would say that Fred Rodgers had "emotional intelligence" which he does not discern from whatever he thinks regular intelligence is. So when he says stupid people shouldn't live his niece gets an exception in his book.
Recently he has claimed emotional intelligence is empathy, which while vague nonsense is still something bob lacks. So make of that what you will.
She probably took out a second mortgage to help the chippa with his remodel.
I think she is just charging him rent, and this mental gymnastics to get around that he had to move back in with his mom.
this retarded sack of shit doesnt know about the mexican-american war or he is just fucking with us?
Geopolitics bob is probably where he is at his most out of depth. I was ready to write a whole screed on his china russia relations musings, but we don't really need more politisperging here.

Bob will make excuses and exceptions so he doesn't have to think hard about a issue. Like his niece. He is a open hypocrite.

I notice we have a couple of people who joined within the past month or so. Welcome! If I may offer some advice for reading this thread: no matter how infuriating Robert gets, always remember he's a fat retard living in his mom's house. He has no power over you except what you give him.

Other than that, enjoy. I strongly urge you to read @Positron's masterpiece of an OP, and marvel that this is all about a fat slob who spends all day on the internet.

With that out of the way....

I only highlight this one to point out Robert's fat-fingering of the keys on his phone.

Leftist views cannot stand up in a debate. It's why they're big on censorship. Their views aren't too complex for the average person; they're so out of sync with reality that the only way to express them is to deny reality entirely.

Yes, it is. We did it once, and both Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee condemned the war. Mexico Day celebrates the only win Mexico ever had in that war.

Sequels based on proven IPs because that means guaranteed money. Why bet on something with a risk of failure when you have a guaranteed return? For a supposed Thinker, Robert doesn't seem to do much thinking.

All these should have been devastating news to Bob, yet unlike 2016, he did not explode.
This isn't unique to him. There's a sense of weariness about most leftists. Eight years of constant rage is taxing, which is why there's no rioting over Orange Hitler's reelection.

This is probably the biggest mystery about Robert. What did he do to get saddled with huge amounts of debt? Did he try shorting Tesla? Did he gamble on crypto and lose? Did his rum breakfasts and small amount of McDonald's finally catch up with him? Is paying the mortgage a condition of living with Ma Chipman?

The mind boggles!

I think when it comes to the question of "Why is Bob broke?" it's just money management. Small amounts of McDonalds add up over time, and if you add the Uber Eats charges it adds up even faster. If Bob started taking out loans for his fast food cravings, he was already sunk. The guy needs gainful employment, but the only job he's qualified for is untrained labor, which is not for a Superior Thinker like him.

I'd personally love to see him get into an apprenticeship program, simply because we all know those old Master tradies would have a field day with Bob the Apprentice.

I mean being technical he does have qualifications as a content creator. See his time at screw attack. His problem is that he is fucking toxic to everyone he is around. Doesn't matter what job he's in, his personality is his greatest pitfall.

Like most Lefties, when Bob whines about religion, he only means Christianity. It's because they all lack life experience and think religion means Christian only. They consider Jew and Muslim a race (Jew kind of is, but only insofar as you're related to one of the 13 tribes). Most I'd bet have never heard of Sikh, and neopagans would be drowned in a bog if they met their ancestors. This just illustrates how incredibly stupid Bob's ideology is: he thinks only Christians can be Believers and everyone else is a Thinker (unless they voted Trump, which a lot of Muslims and conservative Jews did).

In the end, Bob can be hung using his own false dichotomy, just like every other wannabe dictator.
That's the problem with an extremely concrete, narrow, binary worldview, inevitably you're going to run into a ton of things that simply don't fit. Someone can think and believe at the same time, or even do neither.

I think this is the cause. His consoomerism is 90% emotional and tweet-based and his collection of stuff is nowhere near enough to be a six-figure debt.... but, assuming another person's liability like that? Absolutely.
Liberals believe having a non-liberal opinion is to be a victim of "misinformation", or, that your opinion itself is "misinformation" - Just saying "I don't believe that" isn't an oblique way to say you question if the data has been collected impartially about an issue. Or that said issue is even important. Rather, it's an immediate appeal to conspiracy and censorship by feeble minds that can't cope with "reality".

This doesn't show how misinformation has gotten worse, it shows how lefty types like Bob have become unable to handle dissent to the degree they no longer believe disagreement with the left or the narrative of progressivism is rational or even possible outside of someone pulling strings with 100% efficiency on the 72 million people in this country who are clearly too dumb to think on their own.

It would explain a lot really. His income is low but not terrible given everything. If he's paying for Ma Chipman's mortgage though... yeah that would put him in the hole.

He specifically mentions the IRS being gone would be of huge benefit to him, so I don't think he took on the mortgage obligation - or at least, that's not what broke him. Sounds like he may have taken on a tax obligation, seems like Mama Chipman may not have been filing. If you owe, the compounding interest on not paying it can be pretty brutal.

The stupid part is that there's basically no reason for him to have done so. Debt collectors will try to convince you otherwise, but you have no obligation to take on family members debts, and surely such an economically educated and smart person such as Bob wouldn't be browbeat by a pajeet on the phone into saying on a recorded line "Ok I'll pay for it then".
