The last day is a haze. Yesterday was Veteran's Day here in the states. A day when we celebrate the imperialist, colonizing, white men who lived through the many white supremacist wars. It's not too bad because I get the day off and it was also the release of Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever by Disney. I know I saw it. I have the ticket stub, commemorative 2 liter cup and 2 gallon popcorn tub (there is nothing left in it and I am hungry). My memories of the movie are tragically sparse and what I do remember is not good. I remember intense sorrow and pain stemming from me not being able to enjoy the movie to it's full extent. I am not black (I am white) so this movie does not fully reach me. Why?! Why in the name of Science was I born not black!? Black people are the coolest people to ever exist! Their hair gets all poofy like sheep's wool, they listen to rap music, they drive cars with big wheels, they know what it's like to be slaves, they go to prison, and they wear very baggy jeans! The fact that they've only known oppression from white people (worst people) and still thumb their noses at white people makes them the strongest of all people! Why do they get to be strong and noticed and get to fully enjoy a Marvel movie when I can have none of those? I want to be black so people will notice me and think that I am strong too! I believe that is what led to this morning and lack of entry yesterday. According to this receipt in my wallet, I spent $125 dollars on a bunch of drinks called Donkey Kong Punch (I do not tip) at a bar arcade sometime around 4pm. The empty McNugget and McRib containers suggest that my friend and I ate those here. I notice that my mom's cans of tanning spray and nail polish are part of the detritus and horror fills me. I swipe my phone open and I see a picture staring back at me.

I also find it fascinating that people were still upset about John Walker from Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
