The power of truck death sends the MC into most often a dungeon and dragons type fantasy world where they become the most OP mf'er ever because of bullshit reasons if any reason is given. Sometimes the MC is turned into something that doesn't seem all that powerful like a slime. This show is either taking it to the extreme or taking the piss out of the genre by going full ridiculous and making the hero into a vending machine. Bob is right to roll his eyes at this just like 99.99999% of the world about this show where the one thing that sets it apart from an ocean of of isekai dreck is that this one has a vending machine.

All of this is true and I won't fill up this board with more autism - but Isekai have reached the point that there's literally high school parodies of the genre now.

Apparently some of this is because there's a fanfic equivalent site where light novels are first developed and published. As there are a ton of these competing for attention, authors pretty much have to have a title to get the clicks and eyeballs. Thus something like "Reborn in another world as a vending machine" exists.
