I think the issue is he doesn't understand the difference between 'working class' and 'poor'. His logic seems to be that since a lot of blue collar jobs can earn more money than you'd get working at Starbucks or McDonald's, they no longer count as working class. Bob insists he's working class for the same reason some politicians claim they were brought up in a working class family. He wants "street cred." However, that, by itself, is not enough for Bob. Bob also wants the ability to exclude other people from being working class for arbitrary reasons. And it is a lot of people, and people who were always traditionally considered working class. This is the difference between the normal person who wants to claim working class cred, and MovieBob. It is not enough that Bob, a youtuber who begs for money is working class. No, truckers and welders must be excluded because he hates them and is jealous of their income. This despite the fact that Bob has never wanted to work hard a single day in his entire life, even if it meant he could have money.
