First off, 343 has shown they do not understand the appeal of Halo, and Master Chief in particular, in the slightest, with the TV series being perhaps the best example of this. Nobody plays a Halo game to get bogged down in psychological drama of a supersoldier feeling big sads over all the things he's killed. They do it to have a good time blasting away at literally everything in front of you. Bob places people in categories of good and bad, and they are all the exact same person. Speaking of Bob's Halo episode, It's kinda funny how everyone seems to gloss over Bob's main argument. Even EFAP would rather trash his, obviously deserved, clumsy misreading of the Halo franchise, instead of discussing the main thesis of the video. Honestly I can't blame them since the main question Bob asks is haphazardly tacked right on before the credits roll. In hindsight this Halo Episode feels like the first half to a potentially longer Halo episode that he never bothered to finish. I feel the need to talk about this right now because really, Bob's true argument in the video is equally as ridiculous.

Simply, Bob does not argue that Halo is fascist, but posits that Halo is UNCONSCIOUSLY fascist.

Bob presents that Halo has several parallels to fascist ideology, and therefore unconsciously promotes it. He alludes to other pieces of media having a similar influence on general audiences at large, but is seemingly content with Halo and 300 as clear enough examples of his argument. Bob's final line is how he laments that this unconscious fascism, still pervades in collective society as a whole, and he ultimately worries these accidental fascist themes may have not been taken into serious consideration by those that should.

In retrospect of it all, Bob is seemingly ahead of the curve in 2014. Back then Bob was the only one worrying if Halo was secretly promoting fascism. Nowadays every deranged opinion haver wholeheartedly believes that any portrayal of fascism is an inherent endorsement of it.
