The first thing of note is that Bob, for some reason, has his face on camera for this.
Why this is noteworthy is because you can watch his eyes move from his left to his right as he reads his script for the entire thing. It's like an old type writer. Go to any point in the video where you see his face, give it 5-6 seconds and you will see his eyes *ka-chink* to the other side of his monitor. I went to his actual video to get the transcript and discovered that at only 16 hours old it has more views than his Ginger video.
Bob doesn't like the movie. He thinks the movie is stupid because he believes it's trying to "both side" the issue of an imaginary civil war because...Texas and California join forces. This is insultingly bad and makes me glad that the idiots that give him money on patreon have that much less money for food. The Natalie Portman movie he's referring to is the 2018 movie, Annihilation. Portman does not spend the movie fighting off a shark-a-gator like she's Chief Brody fighting genetically modified by Umbrella Corp Jaws. There is exactly one scene where they're attacked by a gator and the fight lasts just over a minute.
I love Annihilation. IMO it does a great job of bringing back that unknown and alien horror back to sci-fi. I love how Portman is a great, strong female lead that no one talks about because she's not a caricature that talks about queefs or her leaky vagina. I do hate how the execs stepped in and had Portman explain the plot to Benedict Wong because they assumed that movie goes were too stupid to understand what just happened. I guess in their defense Bob thinks the movie was about Portman fighting off a Sharknado reject so maybe they didn't go far enough. I'm sperging about this to hammer home how bad it is to hear Annihilation summarized in such a way by a guy who claims his job is to know movies and pop culture. I'm not even going to watch the rest of his video to see what, if anything, beyond CA and TX shaking hands and overthrowing the rest of the US he thinks is stupid because there's no point. He's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he wants to hate this movie and knows nothing about the guy's previous work. Oh, that Robot Chicken sketch thing? He's talking about Ex Machina
and the Robot Chicken sketch he's referring too is one where some guy is showcasing off a robot and someone in crowd asks if it is fuckable
