What I do think it suggests is that, when you consider that Obama's academic record is a secret on the level of the formula for Coca-Cola or whatever weird medieval porn the Vatican has locked up in its secret archives, it's very possible that Obama claimed to be Indonesian or Kenyan so he could claim scholarships or other financial bennies that were limited to foreign students. In other words, the reason his transcripts have never been released isn't that he had shitty or even average grades, but because they prove he committed fraud.

Let's see, it gets released on the 26th. We'll see how long the hype about it lasts after that, it depends really on how good it is as a game. If it's as memetic as Nier; Automata, it'll probably generate some secondary outrage at some point related to cosplayers or art. Unfortunately, a lot of the time when MovieBob masturbates to something like Black Swan or Mullholland Drive, I find out about it because the professional film reviewer is pretty explicit about it when referencing those two films (along with some others).

At any rate, the hype around Stellar Blade is currently in the depressing phase from both sides of the culture war, we'll see if it changes after the game is actually released. I'm not planning to get a PS5 so I'll never get to play it myself, but I wish the developers well.

Really late to this, sorry, but I wanted to throw my two cents in. I have speculated that these remakes/revisions/subversions that we've been dealing with for almost a decade now is 100% about these people's inability to actually create anything. For whatever reason, if alleged art they're making is openly an inferior copy, an imitation if you will, or they're jealous of the original, they will destroy what came before it to establish themselves as the cannon or whatever. Look at Last of Us 2. People loved that game with it's gameplay, setting, characters, and story. Neil Druckman comes in and shit cans the head writer and makes his own story where his self insert butt fucks a tranny that kills off the hero that everyone loved of the first game with a golf club. Compare that to Metal Gear Solid 2. It's bait and switch did not kill off Snake and have the director's self insert get butt fucked by Vamp. The bait and switch of starting off with Snake and then playing the rest of the game as whiny Raiden (spoilers) was actually for something. It was commentary on sequels in general. What does Druckman killing off Joel by golf club wielding tranny that then get butt fucked by his self insert say? What's it about? Nothing. It's about killing off the past so Neil's tranny butt fucking becomes the future and the only way around that is to completely erase an established story that Neil created. Look at the king of subversion, the epicenter of dreaded subverting your expectations meme, Rian Johnson. The Last Jedi completely blew up whatever story they were trying to make with the new trilogy and was done on purpose. Rian seemed to get a joy out of people upset over what he did more than people saying they enjoyed his work. Glass Onion is a detective movie that acts like it's smart because it points out how stupid it's story is while looking directly into the camera. Andy was also there at the beginning of Cartoon Network and while not the creative driving force he helped Cartoon Network find it's identity that's kind of been over done and bastardized at this point.
