It doesn't really represent the series in anyway, it was just a fun filler where we got some more lighthearted humor and funny antics with our favorite characters.

Yep, I still remember the shitstorm that happened when they decided to "correct" the dialogue in the dub for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid with regards to Lucoa. There's been push back since before then but that was one of the big ones that really pissed people off. Problem is, when you've cornered the market on an import you can force people to either have to pay, or sail the high seas, and most people would rather just shrug and pay up, especially when the alternative means having an actual PC and most people live on their phones/tablets.
