Yeah, we figured this out over a few posts back when the pictures first surfaced. It's not even that it's all that obvious in the wedding pictures themselves (though once you know it's hard to miss); rather, there were other pictures of him at the airport etc. where he was clearly wearing the exact same shirt, identifiable from the collar and shade of blue.

Case in point, when approached for The Sopranos, Lorraine Bracco was originally offered the role of Tony's wife, Carmela. However, she found it too close to the role she played in Goodfellas and asked to instead play Dr Melfi because she found the character more interesting and more challenging.

Also, as you said, the scene is just House being House. Cynical but also defiant, he needs to let them know he's not just going along with whatever they're telling him to do. He could easily convince them to let him out, he knows people and how to manipulate them, but then they'd think he was bowing and scraping to them. House as a character needs to let you know he's the smartest man in the room in a way that makes others feel small.

Some 20+ years ago my late wife (she was my girlfriend then) gave me a dressing down about ever wearing a graphic t-shirt if I was going anywhere on a date with her, so I stopped buying them. She dressed to the nines whenever she was going out just about anywhere, and I can't remember ever seeing her in a graphic tee. (Even back then I rarely wore them because my job was business casual. Also, I never really liked the way the logos would get cracked and faded over time.)
