Well, broken clock and all that, but I agree with Bob here. I know he's only saying this shit because he's a luddite who is hoping that one day video stores will come back and he can manage one, but I do think people are going to start going back to physical media once they get sick of shit disappearing from Netflix. I actually stopped buying discs for a while, had no intention of ever upgrading to 4K, because I had everything ready to go online, and then the licenses expired and I got sick of finding out shit I wanted to watch was no longer available. And I know I'm not the only one.

It'll be interesting to see what media consumption looks like in six years, but the idea that upcoming consoles won't have a disc drive at all is something I can see happening, though I hope not.

I is one of the few things that I agree with Robert here, whatever influence and pull this "anti-fandom" (for the lack of a better name) might have, it is very limited to non-existent, and to not be a broken record, I don't like them very much either, I just don't care for any sort of bellyaching about whatever internet culture wars bullshit, the second someone starts to bitch and moanb about the new Snow White, is the second I close the tab or scroll past.

Said that, I can't say I'm bothered or upset by people making videos complaining about Disney/marvel shit, because I can easly ignore them, as anything else I don't want to see, I don't have a gun to my head forcing me to, no to mention that there are plenty of shows/movies/videos that I do like and want to see, the internet is vast and this culture wars bullshit is but one of it's many venues.

And as far the whole "grifters" calls people make, I can't say I care much as well. The way I see it is supply and demand, clearly there is an audience that wants to listen how woke and bad Hollywood is and people are going to provide it, I don't know what else to say about it, people wanna hear what they like to hear.

Also, I know the sort of argument idiots like Robert like to make "they are are destroying the discourse about culture", to that I say, cry harder bitch, if what people say about some movie does affect on how you enjoy them, then you deserve to have this shit spoiled, again, very easy to ignore shit on the internet.

But who are we kidding, this isn't about culture or any integrity when engaging with it, Robert here isn't complicated.
