Maybe I missed something beacuse I'm on mobile right nowand the formatting is kind of bad here, but I do wish there was a little bit more of a nod to InsaneBob. I still think First Person Shooters did 9/11 is the funniest thing to happen involving Bob.

Also, I think the punch of the opening bit on cognitive dissonance over "Build a Better Gamer" would hit harder if you mention he actually got diabetes, not just that he's gotten fatter.

A lot of stuff didn't make it because I either didn't have time to research it/ didn't know about it, or because I couldn't figure out how to work it into the write-up. Bob is too exceptional to be summarized by a single post.

I acknowledge your point about the formatting on mobile, because I wrote it all on my laptop, though keep in mind that the spoiler tag may be fucking with it a bit.

I'll dig it up when I get home, but another detail of note is that Bob's response to this was weirdly cagey. He only ever denied one specific detail. (His father being dead, which the guy, James, himself wasn't even sure about. Bob's dad only passed very recently) Then when pressed a bit he fell back on the "I don't remember" defense. Given the insane shit in that podcast I can only take that as confirmation Bob is hiding something.

Bob doubled back on that and changed his answer to, "I don't remember." I can't find the tweets talking about this though, so he might have deleted them. I was able to get a screen grab from a video that got shared here once.

I'm inclined to believe the guy from the First Person Shooters did 9/11 podcast. There's enough other odd little details about Bob he gets right such as his insistent use of the term brown people or his sensitivity over certain family members. There's also the question of why the hell you would make this kind of stuff up, especially since he never really tried to tard cum anything out of it other than going on a single obscure podcast. Bob already has some explicitly conspiratorial beliefs anyway. Probably the most notable is him thinking GamerGate was a trial run of a right wing plot to spot Hillary from getting elected.

I didn't say it was bogus, I said it was unsubstantiated. These are two very different things.

One of the major objectives of this new OP project is to inject its info into Bob's own Lolcow wiki article, and as such I tried to verify everything you see in the proposed OP as fact, this is why you see page numbers and links to everything I state, because those will most likely form the references for that article.

It's also my personal preference to skewer the lolcows with confirmed facts, even if it ends up being slightly less funny.
