He was in his 60s when Chris was born.
I never even thought about it like that. Dude should be thinking about looking after his grandchild by then.

Not to sound weeny, but I'd love to see Chris reaction if that was brought to his attention. Would be nice if Bob got that medallion for his grave. Seeing how Chris always talks about Bob's service in Korea, it would be nice if Chris sat down and did this for his father. It would be a nice gesture towards his father, for once.I just thought of something else: He would probably be eligible to have a vet's grave marker on his crypt. Of course tweedle dim and tweedle hoard don't know or care to look into it.

Sending him a batch of infos on his father alongside with the hint he could get him that memorial badge sounds like it would fall on deaf ears anyway.I've toyed with the idea of compiling all the information I've dug up on Bob (including some other forum poster's discovery of his Auburn Yearbook photos) and sending it too him, as well as in on grave markers and how to get what medals he was entitled too. I don't particularity like Chris but he obviously misses Bob so I would hope he would put some effortinto maintaining his dad's legacy as a vet. But I'm not willing to put lots of work into something the stupid asshole will disregard as "da twolls".

He's been slowly collecting pity points over the last few months since he maced a guy.You DO know that every time someone gets the feels for Chris, that he soon does something horrid to make you regret it. Right?
It's what happens when someone doesn't have the sense or ability to arrange a pre-need contract at their local funeral home (seriously, people. Go take care of that if you hadn't by now! The younger you are the cheaper it will be). The state may find a pauper's plot to dump you in if all else fails, but they're going to check around with all the nearby crash testing faculties and med schools to see if they need any new stiffs first.
No, this isn't true, and if it was it'd be illegal and amoral as all get-out. Destitute/unclaimed dead people are (depending on the state) either cremated or buried in a potter's field.
In order to become a medical cadaver, you really have to go out of your way and make arrangements with a specific medical facility.

One could argue that he only realized how much Bob meant to him emotionally once he was gone.I know that what I'm about to say is going to rankle some people, but please bear with me.... Sometimes I wonder about the nature of Chris missing Bob. Does he genuinely miss him, or does he miss Bob taking on the roles that Chris is now responsible for since is death (bills, being Barb's errand boy. etc.)? Maybe it's a combination of the two.
Yeah, I know this sounds cold and awful, but prior to Bob's death there was very little indication that Chris felt anything for him (please correct me if I'm off-base here). Based on some of the "Classic Chris" videos and emails, it can be intuited that Chris had a rather contentious relationship with Bob. The old Christmas video was very telling as well, with Chris and Barb sitting across from Bob (Chris's arm around Barb's shoulder). The body language in that video spoke volumes.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting things because I'm not making allowances for Chris being autistic - I don't know.
Anyway, just throwing this out there. I'm interested in hearing other people's thoughts on this.

Not to mention that the badge would disappear into the Hoard.Sending him a batch of infos on his father alongside with the hint he could get him that memorial badge sounds like it would fall on deaf ears anyway.
Maybe sending him a message that he could get the badge thingy could work... if Chris even opens and reads the mail.

Yep. Blame it all on Bob for your 'tizzim, Chris. Certainly had nothing to do with Barb being a bar-hopping hooah.

I'd say it's not coincidence...I think it's a real shame that the tomgirl thing happened so close to Bob's death, because I suspect it soured things just a little more there.
Legit question: there any evidence that Bob tried to stop most of Chris's crazy crap? The impression I got is that, while he was argumentative, he gave up any kind of action after Chris got out of PVCC and got onto SSDI. It's Barb who told Chris to knock it off with the attraction signs, Sonichu Sub-Episodes, etc. I agree that both Bob and Barb gave up after a certain point, thus the escalation in crazy crap being pulled, but I got the impression Bob never did that much to stop Chris besides yell at him.I'd say it's not coincidence...
Bob became too frail to stop his son from doing the tomgirl-thing aside from calling him a faggot.
but I got the impression Bob never did that much to stop Chris besides yell at him.
