His parents are under no legal obligation to this girl's parents whatsoever. Again, without facts this means absolutely nothing. They could have hated each other, their son may have instructed them not to talk to anyone, whatever. There is no proof they broke any laws at this point.

Why are all the press conference video links cutting off just as the questions are asked? Very irritating.

Also, everyone who has a brain expected this outcome. I personally don't want Brian to kill himself or get shot in the head during a police chase because I want more information about how the hell this happened, what he was thinking, and what his shithead parents knew and didn't know, and how they covered for him.

If he's dead it will remain mostly mystery. Have the police confirmed whether or not he was involved in the murder of that lesbian couple?

Before Gabby went missing, someone called the police because they saw Gabby and Brian fighting. Brian had scratches on his face/arms. Some people here claim this is proof that she's a batshit crazy abuser, but they keep leaving out the part where she did that because she was trying to grab her keys and get into her van because she was afraid Brian was going to leave her stranded. Why she feared Brian was going to take her van and leave her is up for debate (Has he left her before in the past?) but either way, she was scared this would happen.

Fast forward some time later, Brian takes Gabby's van and drives back to Florida without her. This is very odd, how do you explain coming back home with your girlfriend's van but no girlfriend? He never notified police or Gabby's family, which only makes it appear more obvious that something bad has happened to Gabby.

As for why people hate Brian's parents, in addition to not being helpful, they've known Gabby has been missing for well over a week and never reported it or told Gabby's parents. I guess Brian could have lied to them ("We had a fight and broke up, she wanted to stay behind so I came back home!") but that theory doesn't really make sense when you think about it. Gabby's parent's tried contacting them and eventually just went over to their house to ask where Gabby was, and Brian's parents refused to talk. If they thought Gabby and Brian had just broken up or something, then why not say that? Instead, they refused to talk and then hired a lawyer.

Also, another reason people hate them is because it appears that they have actually aided Brian in escaping. Now he's "missing" and wasting everyone's time and resources trying to find him.

I think some men in this thread want Brian to be innocent because they are tired of the piss being taken out of white males. They picked the wrong guy to defend though. Everything here screams guilt.

But these incidents happen a lot and very often it's the significant other or close family member that did it. I keep going back to Chris Watts. He murdered his family, put the bodies in the oil field and went about his day like nothing was going on. I think the only thing that kept him from running was that Shanann's friend came to check on her and called the police because she thought she may have lost consciousness due to pregnancy complications she was having. So the police called Chris to get permission to enter the house.

I don't care if you are 18 or 81. Someone running off in the wilds of Wyoming is going to be in danger. Being an adult doesn't matter. It's fucking Wyoming. You just don't drive back to Florida without a word. I found that very suspicious. Whether Gabby's death was an accident or not, he panicked and just drove back home.

Imagine having a toxic relationship and doing the van life thing. It must have made everything ten times worse.

I can learn from this situation. These two people were not compatible. They most likely hit each other off camera all the time and made a fool out of themselves. In the meanwhile they vlogged only the nice parts of their life. Setting up a completely different picture then the cold hard reality.
The best case would have been Gabby getting taken away for awhile for DV... it would've given them a break and a safer outcome. They should've just rode home and seperated forever... but in disfunctional relationships, solution seeking is foggy.
