Well, it's not very often a killer and his prey get caught and released by police. That's what makes it memorably tragic. I should add dear chinaman, that no one cares when asians try to use the race card.

So I'm thinking dude had planned to off her at some point prior to the trip. She could have been an abusive personality but I'm open to the idea that perhaps she was reacting appropriately to a disturbing change in his behavior if in fact he had it in his mind the whole time. I would have thought having the police pull him over might have postponed whatever plans he had set in motion or at least given him pause to think when the impulse came up, but I guess it's all about living in the moment when you know you don't have much of a future to look forward to.

In March this year in the UK we had a case of a white dude who was also a police officer kidnapping, raping and murdering a woman. This spiralled into a month's long national discussion on women's safety, #MeToo, ACAB type shit, which then also sparked a wave of accusations of sexual misconduct in schools and universities across the country. Whenever something like this happens in 2021 it can't just be treated as a horrible crime and tragedy, it has to be twisted into a political narrative one way or another. Then it's inevitably forgotten as soon as the outrage stops grabbing headlines.

He's done even if he is innocent, which I highly doubt. Let's presume that he is innocent (innocent until proven guilty). This guy goes on a van tour trip with his fiance where he vlogs it with her. They have a history of getting into arguments apparently. She dissapears at some point and he turns up fine from this trip. He decides to say nothing about it.

There are a lot of uncomfortable questions that need to be asked and answered even if he didn't do anything. What happened? Did you get into an argument? Did it become physical? Did she run off into into the park in the middle of the night? Did you attempt to contact her? Did you leave her and drive off in the van? Why did you not try to get her? Why were you nowhere to be found when the police discovered her body? Where you trying to flee? Was it because you killed her?

All these questions near guarantee that he's done, assuming he hasn't an heroed himself. At best this guy took some really stupid and cold blooded steps with the non talking and the getting out of dodge. Yes they can argue that he was afraid that the police would arrest him improperly or that the media were harassing him at his doorstep, but that's not going to convince a jury that he's innocent. He's fucked.

Even if things played out exactly as Brian said they did, he's still a massive cunt for stealing his fiancƩe's van, ditching her the middle of bumfuck Wyoming, and refusing to help the cops find her before just straight-up going on the lam.

Even if he was innocent, he's still a total fucking asshole, and a major fucking idiot.
