Observe, the Boglimpedia. This is in response to the fact that there isn't really a functional Cobrapedia any longer. There was a Fandom one that I'm convinced only I knew of and the former Cobrapedia, which the owner couldn't be bothered to keep going.
Grand Larsony put the thing together a few months back - It runs on Dokuwiki and is currently being contributed to by some dude who knows his mead, and myself.
Currently, the priority list is as follows:
  1. Finish the extended history of Cobes + All notable homeboys/villains
  2. Get all the notable Incidents(1/3 done rn) and items of Gothic Power written up
  3. Forcibly listen to and write articles for all 18 of Cobes' albums
  4. Clean up the main page and make it presentable(I don't know dokuwiki at all so this is gonna be a bitch)
  5. start cataloguing the extensive list of Drink Combos + Dank Food Hacks.
It goes without saying, but assistance building the wiki is not required, but it is greatly appreciated.

If you're uncertain how to edit for this site, not to worry.
Despite what many believe, writing for any form of Wikipedia article is easy. Your only real goal is to present the facts in a non-biased, professional manner. You may give as many or as few details as pertinent to the article as necessary, especially as much of what happens in the Cobraverse is based on speculation.
Don't use personal biases when writing. This is especially important for Boglimpedia, as Josh is a controversial figure. Nothing but the facts. Nobody cares what you think. This rule extends to theorizing as well - Many things happen off-camera in the Cobraverse that are seldom addressed until they suddenly are. If you're not certain on what happened, say that there's no reliable source on what happened. Josh and the people who orbit him are lolcows, and as such often spill the beans for personal reasons anyway.
Always attempt to cite your sources and name dates. Josh has been uploading content to YouTube since 2010. The more accurate you are in your sources, the more easy it is to find these videos, especially as Josh has a bad habit of deleting videos he doesn't like.
Write your articles as though the reader knows nothing about Josh. The history of KingCobraJFS is long and daunting to get into, especially to the un-initiated. There is always a chance that someone has stumbled across your article and this is their first exposure to the BOY, so you should seek to write with the mindset that your article is the landing point for the next hapless soldier to enlist in the Cobra Wars. When referring to other objects, persons or incidents in the timeline, be sure to link to them. Be the reason some braindead TikTok zoomer falls into the cobra nest.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. The fabric of reality is moth-eaten and curiously thin in the Cobraverse, and mistakes are commonplace. Not having the correct source, grammatical errors, sections that need to be rewritten due to a poor grasp of the English language - these concepts are all of no importance to the Boglimpedia. Eventually, all mistakes are rectified, one way or another.(I say this as someone who has a HORRIBLE habit of never posting sources.)

Thanks to this thread I just found out about this wiki. Good job @grand larsony for hosting the site and @Lei Wulong's Left Leg for heavily contributing to it :semperfidelis:
I’ve been thinking about for months about trying to revive the old Lolcow Wiki website that Josh used to ran. Josh said that he didn’t want to because no one would want to write articles for free, but I disagree, If there’s a platform there will be people who are interested. What do you guys think?

I enjoy reading all your articles @Lei Wulong's Left Leg

Which ones are the AI click bait?

I'm going to write the one on Aaron in the coming days. I remember it all quite vividly!

I can help take the load on the album articles as I unironically like his music.
Cheers, boss. I appreciate other farmers taking an interest in this.
The AI Clickbait thing is an issue most public wikis face, far as I can tell - foreign news sites who don't have the money to host their own websites burrow into unassuming wiki sites to host their shitty clickbait articles - I usually just remove the articles when they pop up in recent changes, because it's all done by some AI hunting for a spot to put their shitty article.

I wouldn't be adverse to the idea, but many of the major lolcows(DSP, boogster, Cobes) have long histories which make it difficult to contain to one article. I'd be on board, but the undertaking would be simply massive if we're account for all lolcows, ever.

I've been wanting to edit the wiki for a while to add a section and articles for the various Cobra documentaries but I genuinely just don't know how to. Maybe I'm just stupid but docuwiki seems extremely convoluted to me.

@anliteralidiot made some really great pixel art icons for homeboys and the various video topics in the style of the CWCKI. Unfortunately, I don't think they ever got used.

It's pretty straightforward in terms of adding articles once you understand the extremely lengthwise thinking.
So to start what I do is start by linking to a new namespace. You can do that by doing, for example, [[documentaries:Trappped Documentary]]. Now you have both a namespace and a page to start from.
To a make a new bumper like the rest, I do a table. ^ | for your the top row of whatever your table is, then for every horizontal row underneath, you do a | and then another | to close the row.
To do columns, you add an additional | to your horizontal row.
Or in other words:
^ Your title |
| Your first row |
| row 2 col 1 | Row 2 col 2 |
for a more visual example, the Homeboy table looks like this on the front-end: 1725940615392.png
on the code-end, it looks like this[rows and columns are in green for your viewing convenience]:
^**The Saunders Family:** | [[characters:KingCobraJFS]] • [[characters:Clint Saunders]] • [[characters:Tanis Saunders]] • [[characters:Puff Saunders]] |
|
**Homeboys and Homegirls:** | [[characters:Couch Chris]] • [[characters:Darfliny]] • [[characters:Homeboy Scotty]] • [[characters:Jeremy Rogers]] • [[characters:Homeboy Ian]] • [[characters:Aaron]] • [[characters:Alex Anderson]] • [[characters:Minor Homeboys and Homegirls]] |
|**Villains and Foes of King Cobra:** | [[characters:CoolTaste]] • [[characters:Warlord]] • [[characters:Scrapper Steve]] • [[characters:NakedAndLaughing]] • [[characters:Gothic Dee]] • [[characters:Stephanie]] • [[characters:The Trolls]] • [[characters:Casper Police Department]] |
Hope that helps a little bit. If not, feel free to DM me and I'll try to explain it a little better.
I haven't been able to add the icons yet because I wanted the meat of the articles in first. Don't worry, they're goin' in. I'm workin' on it!

Glad we finally got this thread. There's much to cover and many of the sources are obscure. Rebuilding the library of Boglimxandria is no easy task but I digress.

Should there be a page on Josh and Fashion? His style has changed just as much as his own physical appearance over the years.

Lolcow Wiki had multiple articles all dedicated to Deagle Nation and his friends, so not everything should be just in one article. A central article is mostly just an overview of a lolcow

Thanks, I'm really happy with how it's been going. I appreciate all the people spending time to write stuff up about Josh. Sorry I can't write more myself, lot going on right now
I like the idea of a central lolcow wiki but I think trying to organize it and keep it online would be hellishly difficult. When it's just one lolcow (and a lolcow that doesn't have a tendency to make legal threats at that) it's fine, but a central lolcow wiki would attract all kinds of hosting issues like how KF has. I hope someone like Null with an autistic determination to never take the site offline does it though.

On an unrelated note, traffic is spiking lately for reasons that aren't really clear to me. I wonder if a TikTok zoomer made a video or something.

I want to thank you and everyone who helped with this for the Boglimpedia. Looking forward to more content, since I stumbled across Cobes I have become fascinated with him and his shenanigans and Boglimpedia has given valuable insights into how he ticks.

I would try to help with the, uh, recipes of his disgusting food hacks and even more disgusting meads. You know, so cool cobras at home can also get disintery.

So Easternoth needs to be added to the list of Cobraisms, to quote my own post in the Cobes thread:
"Easternoth" - As in "happy Easternoth, doodt." when a normal person tells him "merry Christmas". What he really means is Equinox, which is a common time for pagan festivals. However, Equinox doesn't happen in December, so he really means Solstice.

Alternatively, this could also be a traditional Boglim holiday of the Cobratin faith, where boglims celebrate by getting blackout drunk and embarassing themselves in front of their families."
No idea where it came from but there's talk that it came from Warlord.

Also the NALpocalypse and the section of NAL's article about the second visit needs to be updated with the titty sucking incident. IDK if the wiki hosts videos but I saved some from the NAL and Cobra threads that you can upload to the wiki. There is so much shit that needs to be documented and preserved.

NAL egging on Josh during the third visit

NAL accusing Cobes of domestic violence right after the news of the breakup reached her.

Amateur bog witch attempting to turn Cobes' wand against its own wandmaker, presumably in the woods behind Wommart.

Appreciate it. Boglimpedia is capable of hosting vids, I just haven't been able to work on the 'pedia that much as of late.
Currently, I'm working my way exceedingly slowly through the final chapters of the South Center Age, and then it's onto (hopefully) easier pickings with the Conquistador Age. I'm also trying to figure out which people of interest to add to the wiki as well like Lenin Lime, Bitesize, etc..

Understandable. We all have lives (that Cobra rules).

The South Center era has a lot of lore to it and more of that has been lost to the ages. But the Conquistador era had a lot more underrated moments.

As for other notable people, Bitesize definitely deserves a page and Down the Hill Dave needs an entry on the list of minor homeboys.
He's the old guy tweaking out in the background.

Wish I could help more but I don't have any wiki editing experience. Buuuuut I do have scraps of Cobraverse knowledge.

I might make an account soon for shits and giggles, and I thought I’d also note that Snake Bones episodes might be of help for many articles.

I've updated the editing guide for aspiring Boglimpedia editors as well as copy-pasted it to my post at the top. Remember, when contributing to a wikipedia, the worst thing you can be is uninformative.

I’ve noticed that Gothie and Cobes’ biological mom Laura don’t have articles yet.

Also I propose Walnut Grove as a neutral party. Maybe even Krystal Roberts, Porkney, and Jessica Messica.
