How fucking young are you that boomers are your grandparents. My grandparents are pretty cool, you guys just seem like you're just mati ngl
Millennial parents who had kids young? How fucking young are you that boomers are your grandparents.
every boomer is the main character, every thought is a complete original, nobody ever knows what they know. When they finally die, the world will end now that their infinite knowledge has no outlet into the physical realm....how do i open this pdf?If one more corpse comes in to my store and asks for a copy of 1984 as if it's some small little indie title because drumpf, or makes a big song and dance about us still having Pennies in our tills as if they've been extinct for 5,000 years, they're going strrraight to the glue factory
A good illustration of what fifty plus years of TV does to someone.every boomer is the main character, every thought is a complete original, nobody ever knows what they know.
You do realize, right, that the oldest Boomers are turning 80 this year, and that there are Zoomers who are almost 30? I'm a Millennial with Boomer parents, and I have nieces and nephews in their 20's. Therefore a Kiwi Farms member who's let's say 26 years old would most likely have Boomer grandparents. How fucking young are you that boomers are your grandparents.
I'm 25 and have siblings/cousins ranging from 17 to 28. Our grandparents are in their late 70s.How fucking young are you that boomers are your grandparents.
Opinion IMMEDIATELY discardedI'm 25
Ah, I see you know your boomerisms wellOpinion IMMEDIATELY discarded
Millennials either have kids past 35 and wonder why Timmy's autistic or just replace them with puppers and weed.Millennial parents who had kids young?
There are pre-2000 Zoomers that age out there who have late Gen Jones Boomer parents born in the late 50's and early 60's. My own existence, as unlikely as it is, is the result of such a situation. Therefore a Kiwi Farms member who's let's say 26 years old would most likely have Boomer grandparents.
There's also people on the cusp between millennial and Z that have early Gen X parents. It's not impossible for those Xers to have boomer parents. People did have kids younger when most boomers were in their 20's. Also possible for an elder millennial who could vote in 2008 to have had a kid before 2013. Boom, a zoomer with boomer grandparents. There are pre-2000 Zoomers that age out there who have late Gen Jones Boomer parents born in the late 50's and early 60's. My own existence, as unlikely as it is, is the result of such a situation.
I don't think that's even inherently the problem, its thinking that their stuff is actually valuable. The discussion of boomers not realizing that their kids (or anyone) don't give a fuck about their "collectibles" or "hobbys" reminds me once again of this article from 2024.
They're obsessed with being able to get lots of money out of anything and everything even when, or perhaps especially when, it doesn't make any sense.I don't think that's even inherently the problem, its thinking that their stuff is actually valuable.
Aren't the boomers the peak of consumerism? As an older Gen Z I prefer to gain happiness from experiences rather than products, I've heard most of Gen Z is like that.I don't think that's even inherently the problem, its thinking that their stuff is actually valuable.
Many boomers are wowed by products in good condition with original packaging, and automatically assume that makes that stuff worth something. As an example, the average boomer, is far more wowed by a harbor freight wrench set with original box in good condition (like the ford pinto of tools) than a well used Snap-on set of wrenches (the mercedes benz of tools), despite the latter being worth substantially more. The value they see in their stuff is often based on very superficial elements
I would say peak consumerism is happening now among all generations, mostly of the fault of the Boomers. They enabled the peak consumerism we are experiencing. The cycle of debt and credit, own nothing and rent forever, the mortgages, the loans, all of requiring, work work work, spend spend spend. The cycle doesn't stop, I know we need to work to spend, and spend to live, but I don't want it to be an infuriating grind. All political decisions have benefited the boomers and elderly the most. The entire American economy feels like a giant Ponzi scheme now and anyone who dare steps out of line is punished because the system is setup to punish people who don't contribute to it. The cycle can't stop because of how the debts of our economy drive the monetary system we have. Line must go up, and Boomers allowed it to happen, they embraced it, they got insanely rich off of it. Boomers are 20ish% of the US population and still own half the wealth? Just doing a Google search, and some of the studies don't even show Gen Z on the fucking chart, we get grouped in with the Millennials because that's how fucking broke we are, and we are having some of the most insane costs of living to pay for, how the fuck is that a Golden Age of America, explain that Donald. When he said, he was afraid of hurting home values, I couldn't have been more pissed off. Boomers looking out for Boomers. Democrats are no fucking better since most of them are just apart of the faggot agenda and just tax the ever living fuck out of everyone and give it all to fraudulent NGOs. Oldest Gen Zs are approaching 30, and we have virtually nothing to show for it. I have this weird feeling that this great inheritance that so many articles talk about, isn't going to happen. They'll probably do one last "fuck you" to the whole world and spend all their money so no one can enjoy what they got to enjoy.Aren't the boomers the peak of consumerism? As an older Gen Z I prefer to gain happiness from experiences rather than products, I've heard most of Gen Z is like that.
