Boomer Hate Thread

If one more corpse comes in to my store and asks for a copy of 1984 as if it's some small little indie title because drumpf, or makes a big song and dance about us still having Pennies in our tills as if they've been extinct for 5,000 years, they're going strrraight to the glue factory

every boomer is the main character, every thought is a complete original, nobody ever knows what they know. When they finally die, the world will end now that their infinite knowledge has no outlet into the physical realm....how do i open this pdf?

Boomer proves it actually was harder back then.... by talking about his parents.

How fucking young are you that boomers are your grandparents.
You do realize, right, that the oldest Boomers are turning 80 this year, and that there are Zoomers who are almost 30? I'm a Millennial with Boomer parents, and I have nieces and nephews in their 20's. Therefore a Kiwi Farms member who's let's say 26 years old would most likely have Boomer grandparents.

I'm 25 and have siblings/cousins ranging from 17 to 28. Our grandparents are in their late 70s.

How fucking old are you that you don't realize that 1) the majority of "gen z" are already adults, and 2) most of them have gen X parents and boomer grandparents.

There are pre-2000 Zoomers that age out there who have late Gen Jones Boomer parents born in the late 50's and early 60's. My own existence, as unlikely as it is, is the result of such a situation.
There's also people on the cusp between millennial and Z that have early Gen X parents. It's not impossible for those Xers to have boomer parents. People did have kids younger when most boomers were in their 20's. Also possible for an elder millennial who could vote in 2008 to have had a kid before 2013. Boom, a zoomer with boomer grandparents.

We all dunk on American boomers, but Canadian boomers are on another level. The only people you see at the Elbows up(stupid slogan) protests are boomers. There was a poll that was conducted among Canadians separated by age bracket that asked what was their main concern when voting. Each generation answered something normal, but the boomers main concern was Trump. 😂

The discussion of boomers not realizing that their kids (or anyone) don't give a fuck about their "collectibles" or "hobbys" reminds me once again of this article from 2024.
I don't think that's even inherently the problem, its thinking that their stuff is actually valuable.
Many boomers are wowed by products in good condition with original packaging, and automatically assume that makes that stuff worth something. As an example, the average boomer, is far more wowed by a harbor freight wrench set with original box in good condition (like the ford pinto of tools) than a well used Snap-on set of wrenches (the mercedes benz of tools), despite the latter being worth substantially more. The value they see in their stuff is often based on very superficial elements

Aren't the boomers the peak of consumerism? As an older Gen Z I prefer to gain happiness from experiences rather than products, I've heard most of Gen Z is like that.

I would say peak consumerism is happening now among all generations, mostly of the fault of the Boomers. They enabled the peak consumerism we are experiencing. The cycle of debt and credit, own nothing and rent forever, the mortgages, the loans, all of requiring, work work work, spend spend spend. The cycle doesn't stop, I know we need to work to spend, and spend to live, but I don't want it to be an infuriating grind. All political decisions have benefited the boomers and elderly the most. The entire American economy feels like a giant Ponzi scheme now and anyone who dare steps out of line is punished because the system is setup to punish people who don't contribute to it. The cycle can't stop because of how the debts of our economy drive the monetary system we have. Line must go up, and Boomers allowed it to happen, they embraced it, they got insanely rich off of it. Boomers are 20ish% of the US population and still own half the wealth? Just doing a Google search, and some of the studies don't even show Gen Z on the fucking chart, we get grouped in with the Millennials because that's how fucking broke we are, and we are having some of the most insane costs of living to pay for, how the fuck is that a Golden Age of America, explain that Donald. When he said, he was afraid of hurting home values, I couldn't have been more pissed off. Boomers looking out for Boomers. Democrats are no fucking better since most of them are just apart of the faggot agenda and just tax the ever living fuck out of everyone and give it all to fraudulent NGOs. Oldest Gen Zs are approaching 30, and we have virtually nothing to show for it. I have this weird feeling that this great inheritance that so many articles talk about, isn't going to happen. They'll probably do one last "fuck you" to the whole world and spend all their money so no one can enjoy what they got to enjoy.

To not shit the thread, I'll keep this in a spoiler drop down.

To express how fed up I am with the whole system: I just got finished watching fucking Earthship videos and they were showing the studies about how they're incredibly efficient and structurally sound, but are illegal because they don't contribute any money to the system. I now want to live in a Earthship style home (though I would still have an electrical service mainly for a server room since I have a shit ton of bare metals lying around that I don't want to pay colocation for) mainly to say fuck you to the government and corporatism. I also wouldn't go crazy with they recycled products as structural, I'd use some proper materials. I wouldn't want to have glass bottle walls or aluminum can pillars. The fact that homes that have proven to be efficient and practical are illegal, merely based on the fact that they hurt shareholders and corporations, annoys the hell out of me.

I don't want to endlessly consume just to meet basic necessities, and I don't want my basic necessities to break my bank.

I also hate how all the fucking food in this country is practically poisoned and makes us unhealthy, but communities have been built to prioritize fast slop (I refuse to call it food) that rots us from the inside. I'm only buying organic foods now because I'm getting practically terrified of what I eat (except my Chinese restaurant on Friday night, Sesame Chicken, Lo Mein, and Pork Egg Rolls will always be there regardless). I think Jeremy Clarkson said it (I'm having trouble finding the video since JeetTube's history is now fucked and repeats the same fucking day multiple times now for 10 minutes of scrolling), but basically to paraphrase, it's as if they just want to remove any chance of buying anything real and local anymore, and have everything you eat now, come out of a petrol (gas) station.

I know this site has mixed opinions on Tucker Carlson, but I love his interviews with some of his guests. He gives them the time to speak, a lot of it is pretty insightful, and it makes me go research a lot of what is being discussed. I love his rant on boomers and how much he hates them since he was the first of Gen X who had to deal with them. I decided to add this list since the Charlie Kirk interview about debt and Gen Z was a great one. Here's a list of the ones I liked the most:

Charlie Kirk Interview:
Tells Charlie how much he hates Boomers.

Tim Dillon Interview:
Mainly the part(s) on the Baby Boomers.

Zach Lahn Interview (Gubernatorial Candidate for Iowa):

James Fishback Interview (Gubernatorial Candidate for Florida):
*Yeah, I know Fishback's mic speaking is ridiculous.

Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos Interview
*This really pissed me off as a Catholic. I'm for Israel defending itself from complete destruction, but us
allowing them to desecrate Christian holy sites and abuse Christians? Fuck off. I still need to watch the Huckabee interview (mainly because
it's 3 fucking hours).
