The Boomer Carpenter company owners are the worst. No, I am not coming out to a job interview for 22 an hour. It's 30 minimum. These people don't think. At all about anything. No, I want benefits. No, I actually don't want to be your scam 1099 employee that requires me to pay more taxes.
No, I'm clocking in when you require me to go to the shop and not when we get to the job site. And I'm clocking out when we get back to the shop and finish unloading. Tools don't like that. That's literally federal lull.
These are all conversations that. Actually had with my bosses at various carpentry companies.
I always laugh when I see a job out there that requires actual skills trying to pay you only $20 an hour if even that. Granted I live in a rural area, but I STILL see jobs that require a 4 year degree trying to pay less than $20 an hour. Nigger, I'm not even getting out of bed for that much anymore unless I have no job and no choice. My area is rural, but not THAT rural. Shit still costs money here. I'm especially not leaving my current company to work for your ass when you barely give benefits, and pay like shit.
So many fucking jobs out there run by Boomers and rich Millennials who want you to run around ragged working for them, and they don't pay you shit. They'll pay you $2 more per hour than fucking McDonalds and post that shit on job sites, and then require 10x the work and experience needed to get that job compared to McWagies which just requires you to show up to fucking work and hopefully not show up high.
What makes it worse is they'll always get away with this shit until something really shakes up the system.
I don't understand the larp where older guys will go overseas for a trad wife after spending so much of their time trashing their homegrown counterparts when usually ends up worse for them and they will still pretend they're getting a good deal.
I know a lot of Filipinos. Most are good people (10x better than niggers and Indians), but the women are shrewd and pragmatic in a way you wouldn't initially expect. They know exactly what they're doing, and you're 100% right in what you say about them not being 'completely isolated'.
I've been to Filipino parties, and by god...its like walking into the fucking retirement home. I'm not kidding when I say you'll see a range of women aged 20-70, and 90% of them have Boomer husbands. At least the older women have been married for decades, so its not as bad. The only time the age ranges match nearly exactly is if its the rare Filipino married to another Filipino who was rich enough to come here without needing a Boomers citizenship.
But it makes me wonder...some of those Boomers I saw had their only kids by these women. These type of men don't have success back home, and may never have had kids without doing what they did...who knows? I can empathize with being a middle-aged man who has no kids, no wife, and wondering 'whats the point?' Don't get me wrong, it puts a bad taste in my mouth, but I can rationalize it. Even if these girls live in environments far more abundant than back home, who is really taking advantage of who?
The Boomers who are really fucking unforgivable though? Its the ones who already have families and got divorced. Then they go overseas to marry another woman and give her everything, leaving their other kids with little to nothing. I've seen that happen before too.
Even without a camera, you could probably glaze and see her screen no problem.
