The only way I could make sense of that is how as generations get older, their numbers dwindle and they can be lumped in with each other easier. Though it is pretty weird how boomers are defined as those born in an 18 year time frame where every generation after them is 15 at most. Even the Silent Generation before them is supposedly 17 years.

Some are probably tempted to believe that boomers' unwillingness to learn new things is common to all old people, but I've known boomers' parents and none of them were nearly as recalcitrant as their boomer brats.

Yeah tell me about it. When I was doing customer service I got so many boomers trying to make me do extra work by sending them paper copies of things because they refused to get an online account to download the exact thing they need right this minute. And they always gave the same "I'm old" excuse for not wanting to sign in. I so badly wanted to just say "Come on, George. I just spoke to a man older than you who knew how to write in cursive while Hitler was still alive and he had his accounts dialed in, it's easy." Pretty sure they just wanted to get help, while at the same time give commands. I hope their shit got lost in the mail.

I know these guys are technically boomers, but this is such a boomer mentality. Also, none of these people actually own roofing companies. If it is such a problem that you can't hire people to work and need more labour, why can't the government set up a system where Mexican nationals can legally work in the united states? These are just 2 examples of commercial units. They give you a picture of the room on the other side of the wall and show where people are standing on the other side. The boomer will always see superior knowledge, strength, and higher abilities as an opportunity for them to insist that they are the bigger victim and sympathy and pity mine. If that does not work they will then resort to claiming that they have some sort of godly strength that does not exist in reality. It’s the mindset of a 2 year old. They will constantly cycle between these extremes. In the West greater age means greater privileges, ability to serve in the senate, ability to collect social security, and so forth. It is only reasonable, that those privileges from age also come with higher expectations of conduct to be proportional.

The real victims of these scams are usually the family these people have. I don't feel sorry for the targets themselves watching a lot of these because it's clear it's all just a narcissistic sort of fantasy for them a lot of the time. Especially with older ladies IMO.

If they would never buy a car for their kids or grand kids just because and not use it for leverage later, then why would they send millions to a stranger they've never met in person? To be fair, there comes a point in someone's life where they just can't bother anymore, and they shouldn't be bothered. I know people complain about the "Fuck you I got mine" mentality but, in a way, they are not entirely wrong here.

There is a mega mosque being built. She is 60, she won't be around much longer, she can't worry about the future because the future is not hers anymore. Those are the problems the next generation will have to solve. It would be a different thing if it was a boomer who happens to be a world leader.

If a boomer wants to abstain from society then I 100% support it. I would much rather have someone who is old do that than seeing a bunch of them carrying signs that say "NO KINGS" or "Gay rights", who support whatever current thing is happening because the media told them to care.

I do hope that one day there is an age limit for being able to participate in the government, AND voting.

This is how nearly all parents operate, to be honest. Especially the ones that prattle on forever about how much they love their kids and are the best parents.

When the actual hardest and most important aspect about being a parent is giving them every opportunity to succeed once you're gone/past your prime.
