So if you head to this link and fuck around with the number keys on your keyboard, you can actually see the entire skill tree of Amara (Siren) and Zane (Operative) during the gameplay stream. Moze's (Mech soldier?) and Fl4k's (Beastmaster?) skill trees are in this url but are yet to be revealed.

Watching a little bit of the stream now. I liked some of the guns I saw, and the attachments they're using with them (The Hyperion Shotgun with shields was pretty slick). The gameplay looks pretty fluid, and the punching barrels was neat, but its just seems sort of gimmicky. The loot instancing seemed pretty cool, and the inclusion of classic mode seems pretty good.
The level adjustment between characters was cool. I usually maintained levels with friends and made new characters when necessary, so I don't know how much I'd use it, but it was annoying in BL2 to have a public online lobby and the one guy was just a few too levels high.
Tediore felt gimmicky in BL2, but I enjoyed them, I thought they were a bit underwhelming, but now they look a little bit beefier.
The first boss looked slick and if they are telling the truth and the boss fights never go down the same good on them, but I don't see that happening.
Why does the chick villain seem so bubbly? They painted her way differently during the trailer. And they're making them streamers? Why?
And what the fuck did they do to CL4P-TP? He sounds horrible.
From what I saw (I didn't see it all) it doesn't seem too bad. A lot of it just looks a bit gimmicky, and the rest is just quality of life stuff that makes the game a little less monotonous. Nothing that made me go "This will be the game of 2019."
They said the Operative is able to equip two at the same time. Still underwhelming from broadcasting "three skills" in leaks and making it seem like some sort of wild combo'ing was going to go down.

Now they are saying the main game alone is 30 hours if you rush it. Order some take out.

Cool, that means loads of mandatory quests that have nothing to do with the plot. The number of writers/scenario planners in video games that can stretch a single player campaign that long and make it interesting can be counted on one hand and none of them work for Gearbox.

jokes aside, the game looks fun. i've been a fan of borderlands since the first one. i even stomached the pre sequel. the gameplay i've been seeing looks better than BL2, so i'm excited.
even if im going to just torrent it.

I'm willing to give it a chance. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have fun with the series. Well the Pre-sequal left a bad taste in my mouth, but it looks like nothing from that game will be carried over. The classes look like actual fucking classes and not some dumb gimmick like the last one. Graphics look good. My only request is that they let us play as a psycho again.

The Pre-Sequel sucked but it gave us Cryo and Butt Slams. So there is that. I was not expecting anything mindblowing in regards to the graphics or spectacular new abilities. Just want more Borderlands and this is more Borderlands with some QOL benifits. It's not an MMO and does not appear to be littered with MTX, outside of things we paid extra for in the past. Randy could have easily blown this but for me it's more Borderlands and that is what I was hoping for.

I completely forgot that they dumped the original VA for Claptrap, hearing the new guy is reminiscent of the Aladdin movie/cartoon Genie difference.

He was already an employee with Gearbox but did voice work on the side with no compensation. After he left his position, they would have to pay him, but probably offered some basic bitch salary so he turned it down.

This sleazy crap around the game and even little things sort of upset me. Pitchford is acting like such a little baby when people critique his game and these are grown ass adults crying like babies because people are saying something bad about their shady ass decisions. I saw some gameplay and something that was a nitpick is a gun that shoots other guns as loot and from a gameplay perspective it seems like they're just going to meme the "GAZILLION GUNS" thing. Why would I need a gun that shoots other guns that seems counter intuitive to the fact that you don't have unlimited backpack space.

That legitimately pisses me off. The fact that this is the guy you meet at the beginning of every fucking game, who has had a major DLC, usually the BEST DLC dedicated to him in 2/3 games, whose the golden standard for BL humor, and he's probably payed less than the person who got Athena to marry Springs. Fuck my life, where are the priorities at?

I certainly like the look of the game but I can't help but be somewhat disappointed.
The two things TPS did better than 2 (Increased mobility thanks to jetpacks and more interesting talent trees) are not in the game. Also the writing seems to have somehow got even worse and guns sound really anemic. I want my gunfire to be loud for fuck's sake.

Cutting corners on Voice Actors is not a great look when you're trying to sell a game that already looks bland and samey.
