I can't begin to tell you how overplayed this commercial is and I barely watch television. I've been out of the country for nearly two months and I still remember it verbatim. Why do you include commercials in your synchronisms anyway? Commercials, by nature, are scheduled to play at specific intervals over a set number of channels. There is nothing coincidental about them in the slightest.

Happening at the same time is actually the definition of "coincidence."

Eh, fair enough. I suppose the phrase I was looking for was "cosmically significant". I'll edit for clarity.

@Brad Watson_Miami I'm actually sort of proud of you for not mentioning that the Septuagint corresponds to '70 Interpreters' and that there were at least 7 other versions of the Greek Old Testament. Was that just an oversight or does your numerology just flat-out not apply here?

4/30/15 is your Judgment Day: you FAIL.

Sentence: 1,274 years reincarnated as non-human (the maximum sentence).

I'll try to remember not to reply to you again. (I should write all this stuff down.) You are on the blocked list.

Aw shucks :oops: This is better than any Winner or Semper Fidelis rating I could ever get. I get to add my initials onto the High Score Board of Brad's Judgments!

I realize you're terribly upset and traumatized that I pulled a numerological trump card on you, but it's okay: Lord Omar is a forgiving profit. If you think about it hard enough GOD=7_4 is actually a subset of the Law of Fives.

Don't worry, you might not be Jesus, but you can still be a Pope!

Here, compliments of the Paratheo-Anametamystikhood:

The Septuagint corresponded to 70 (maybe 72) interpreters/translators. 70 is directly connected to 7. There's some famous examples of the #70 in the Bible: Moses, Aaron and his two sons, + 70 elders on Mt. Sinai (74 altogether), 70 in the Sadducees, 70 years of Babylonian captivity. Jesus said, "70 x 7". King Herod's Temple was destroyed in 70 AD which was 74 years after his death.

And sept- means 7. September was originally the 7th month of the pre-Julian Roman calendar. (Oct-ober was eighth, Nov-ember ninth, Dec-ember tenth.)

I'm well aware of the Sadducees Brad, I referenced them in my post about Karaiism. Still, a lot of this is grasping at straws don't you think? I mean sure numbers in the range of 70-79 appear pretty frequently in the bible, but so do a host of numbers in other ranges and could in fact be exaggerations in some places (not to mention there was a lot of symbolic language in both the Old and New Testament).

@Brad Watson_Miami IIRC, Mary and Joseph found out from separate visits by an angel that she was carrying the Son of God in her womb. Did an angel of the Lord come to your parents and let them know you would be Jesus Christ reborn? Or did you discover you were Jesus later in your life?

heaven: 1. the expanse of space that seems to be over the earth like a dome : firmament —usually used in plural - heavens, 2. a. often capitalized : the dwelling place of the Deity and the blessed dead - Heaven. b. a spiritual state of everlasting communion with God. 3. capitalized God, 4. a place or condition of utmost happiness. 5. Christian Science, a state of thought in which sin is absent and the harmony of divine Mind is manifest.

Uh, antichrist voiceguy, what was you source for that? And why are you so mean all the time? It's one harsh attack after another. Take-it-down-a-notch. Find another outlet for your anger. Play some loud drums and/or hit some golf bols.

Mary Mother of God-incarnate did not have a "virgin birth" - that's a myth. I thought everybody knew this by now.

Regardless of whether that's true or not -- which most Christians believe it is -- you didn't answer the question. That's so Brad...

When did you discover that you were Jesus Christ, and how did your parents feel about being the progenitors of the second coming?

And since you're replying to my posts again, where are we on the scientific method and how it applies to your assigning values in your Theory of Luck?

"Grasping at straws"? You think these examples of the #70 aren't linked and are insignificant?...

I do, it just doesn't seem all that rational or reasonable to assume they're connected because they appear a handful of times (and aren't even just one number but numbers in the range of 70-79). Sorry man, I just don't see the logic.

Everybody,

Do your own experiments with...

Theory of Luck

luck 100 = [karma 4 + modesty 1] x [desire 4 + actions 4 +abilities 4 + contributions 4 + blessings 4]
...and good luck! See, I just sincerely gave you some blessings that you can put right into the equation.

I’d be glad to perform some experiments. For one thing, your math sucks, so let’s clean that up:

luck 100 = [karma 4 + modesty 1] x [desire 4 + actions 4 +abilities 4 + contributions 4 + blessings 4]

First, let’s get rid of that “1”. It’s understood, so no need to have it in there.

luck 100 = [karma 4 + modesty] x [desire 4 + actions 4 + abilities 4 + contributions 4 + blessings 4]

Now let’s distribute that 4 in the second quantity.

luck 100 = [karma 4 + modesty] x 4 [desire + actions + abilities + contributions + blessings]

With that, we can really start. Hmm, seems we can easily invert that 100 and turn this into fractions. Percentages, even!

luck = ([karma 4 + modesty]/100) x (4 [desire + actions + abilities + contributions + blessings]/100)

So then, we just cross-multiply.

luck = ([karma 4 + modesty]*100) /( 100*4 [desire + actions + abilities + contributions + blessings])

100s cancel out.

luck = (karma 4 + modesty) / ( 4 [desire + actions + abilities + contributions + blessings])

4s cancel out.

luck = (karma + 1/4 modesty) / (desire + actions + abilities + contributions + blessings)

Which basically gives us either a 1/x or an x/1 function. The former has a limit of zero, the latter has a limit of infinity. So, if I want to have good luck, I need to try to have tons of karma and modesty, while minimizing my desires, actions, contributions, or blessings.

So basically, I have to be an entitled shit and not actually do anything, just wait for good things to happen to me. According to you, Chris Chan is the luckiest person on the planet. How do all you cows end up having the same outlook on life?
