The kids genome is utterly bent, i'd wager he will have full on speech impediments and totally mental, is it a actual crime to drink and use drugs when a child is in utero? Does it qualify as child abuse or is it just looked over?

He was good for an amateur but again, his renown in terms of skating was from a time when it was entirely informal.

People put out self edited tapes of their skating and tried to sell them at skate shops and in magazines. The only competitive outlet was the X Games and a ton of these guys never bothered to sign up for it.. Bam has no history in any recognizable skating competition. I can’t claim definitively that he never entered any Pennsylvania parks and rec shit as a kid, but he definitely never competed as an adult.

Being “sponsored” was the benchmark for people calling themselves pro, but that could mean as little as a local shop giving them free wheels or decks or whatever they were trying to sell, to being Tony Hawk and making an actual career out of it. Bam became as big as he was because of mixing his skating in with pranks and stunts, and getting invited to join the Jackass crew.

So I don’t mean this as an insult to GWAR because they actually vet their musicians, but compared to a band, it’s somewhere in there. His career can’t be separated from theatrics, his skating alone never would’ve made him a household name

It is young Cobra. It was the clearest photo I could find quickly where he wasnt covering up with facial hair.
The mouth on Pheonix in particular reminded me of Cobra.

Hopefully Phoenix will be able to take on the mantle of our new sexy gothic badboy after Cobes finishes killing his brain with Duster.


You can really see the features in this photo. Lookin' like Greta Thunberg over here. Poor kid never had a chance. Wonder if he's even spoken yet.

There's skateboarding the sport, and then there's skateboarding the lifestyle.

Bam was the representative for the lifestyle. He could skate pretty well, but it was everything else he did and was that made him an icon.
