It's hard not to talk about side characters/orbiters in threads that don't have their own subforum, especially in cases like this where the cow is being uneventful and the special retards around him are more interesting. But yes, lapi is the self proclaimed leader of #FreeBam and has taken it upon himself to spastically harass the Margera family about Bam's wellbeing and whereabouts. If we can get some more info on him then I could see him deserving his own thread, but from my own minor digging it seems he only went crazy in the last few years, and I can't find much interesting on the fella.

Documentary could be interesting though, will give it a look.

Edit: On the subject of Lapi, he posted on instagram that he's a real journalist because he was on some ghetto ass tv show for a few years. "The Good Time Kids". It's some weird chicago program for kids that has a psudo journalistic style. It's basically ran by an acting school for their students to get some experience. The site is barebones and the youtube channel has zero viewership or engagement. Its shown in the depths of cable TV.

A lot of the washed up guys from that era are like that, idk why exactly. Pat Duffy likes to go on far-right rantsin comment sections of IG, Duane Peters posts drunken rants from hotels crying about snowflake zoomers ruining skateboarding and punk rock, Henry Sanchez got super pissed recently at Real Skateboards when they reissued his old board from the 90s and altered the graphic to make fun of a recent "politician" he publicly supported:


I've mentioned this before but most of these older guys are fried and realistically haven't done any maturing or even considered growth as a person since they were able to drop out of high school to skate full-time and live in a pro skater bubble where everyone thinks they’re the shit.

Some if you may remember a couple years ago former pro Neal Hendrix almost lost his spot on the Olympic committee for skateboarding when a girl came forward saying she was groomed and had sexual relations with him when she was attending Woodward Skate Camp at 14 and was full-grown adult counselor. Most of his early nineties peers were on IG defending him and questioning what she must have done to get his attention, Shiloh Greathouse in particular was very supportive of Neal and basically the girl got blackballed out of the industry.

TLDR everyone is a piece of shit and never meet your heroes especially those who peaked in the nineties.
