Right down to them starting off as one of the top dogs and then degrading so hard that now he is a pale, sad looking, overweight weirdo.

The major difference is that the Jackass crew legit tried to help Bam while Channel Awesome almost seemed to take disturbing joy in provoking Spoony into digging himself a bigger hole. Also Spoony legit has mental conditions that dont excuse him but at least explain where some of the behavior was coming from.

Edit: Im still blown away at Steve-O being such a nice but still rad dude with a good head between his shoulders now. Im not kidding when I say this that him being alive at all is a miracle within itself, especially being mentally and physically well.

I’ve seen some bad accidents, but never one where so little of the body and chassis remained. I can’t imagine he even felt the heat of the explosion, let alone the ensuing conflagration, since the momentum/impact needed to accomplish that level of damage was probably enough on its own. If they found evidence of smoke inhalation, well then that’s something else entirely…

Anyone have an un-redacted copy of the coroner’s/autopsy report? Wondering what shape his remains were in. I’m assuming what was left wasn’t too recognizable…[insert obligatory well-Dunn joke here].

I've had the memory that he burned alive but I cannot remember where I got that from. It's probably wrong, but he did get BBQ'd according to the coroners report.

I cannot find the actual report yet, if it's available to read. But this states he died of blunt force trauma and burns, but they were dead by the time the ambulance showed up, obviously.

There's other articles parroting the same thing, so I guess this is where I got it from. The coroner believes he may have been shortly alive when he started cooking.

I also very much doubt he spent any significant time in the woods. The property is only 13 acres and I am sure he's combed every inch of those woods back in the day doing drunk/junkie shit. I agree with everyone else who said he likely found the nearest road and asked the new girlfriend to come pick him up. He's' probably in some tweaker's apartment in North Philly.

I doubt he will ever truly get clean. He already spent nearly 2yrs in treatment centers and the minute he came out it was business as usual. For as much as everyone keeps screaming for somebody to do something the person doing all the drugs needs to decide they no longer want to. Bam's not there yet, and likely never will be. That's just how it goes sometimes. The best thing for him would probably be to overdose under the El.

Eh, we are not talking about being interesting, I was simply talking about being healthy in both body and mind given what he went through. Its really hard for junkies to find their way into actual recovery and Steve-O of all being able to pull it off is a testament of the human will and comradery given it took the Jackass crew kind of do a hostile intervention for him to finally accept to willingly go to rehab and fix himself.

Most of the Jackass crew arent interesting on the individual level, they are fun to witness but not "follow" if that makes any sense.
