Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera (born Septermber 28, 1979) is a retired professional skater who achieved overnight stardom through the breakout reality comedy show Jackass. He was a highlight of the show with clips of him performing skate tricks and also torturing his obese father Phil through pranks. He then starred in the Jackass film series, had his own spinoff "Viva La Bam" and was featured in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video games.

Popular belief is that Bam's life went downhill after the tragic death of his fellow Jackass costar Ryan Dunn. Just looking through his Wikipedia page shows that that's not true as Bam had to go to rehab for alcoholism more than a year before Dunn drunkenly crashed his Ferrari. Bam more or less goes into three stages, he either cries about Ryan Dunn, bitches about his family or friends, or brags about how much money he makes. He also seems to hold a grudge that his surviving Jackass co-stars have managed to maintain sobriety for years and become functional adults. Nothing encapsulates Bam's massive ego more than his "Earth Rocker" video. After this video he was arrested in Iceland for destroying his rental car.

What a fucking disaster he's turned out to be. Not surprising for a guy who considered humiliating and pranking his dad as some sort of Xtreme and cool pastime. Also wow. Fucker's only like 40ish but he looks like he's over 60.

Only thing I find more disturbing than Bam Margera right now is the fact they're actually making a Jackass 4, and with the same aging cast no less.

It's amazing. Aside from Johnny Knoxville, this guy had the biggest chance to succeed, even with the shows that MTV gave him, and he pissed it all away with his drunken messy behavior. Talk about wasting an opportunity.

Then again, he seems like he was the worst one in the group, so I'm not even surprised. I always thought the stuff with him harassing his father for comedy was funny when I was young and naive, but looking back, he's an asshole and I'm not surprised he's fallen so far.

I remember when Roger Ebert got a massive backlash for calling Ryan Dunn out on it. Roger Ebert was right and was right to call it out.

He killed someone in a drunken wreck from speeding while intoxicated. It was a death that could have been prevented, and Ryan was an asshole for doing it. Ryan could have gotten a taxi, he could afford it. He didn't have to take the keys and drive. I can't believe Ebert got backlash from it.

This is so grim and really saddening in that nostalgic way everyone is hitting on. I remember being an angsty Tween and downloading VLB on Limewire to binge watch with more angsty Tweens.

Let us never side-step over the fact that the dude was/is 100% in love with Ville Valo and is clearly a closeted gay man. But like, one look at old school Ville and I can't blame him.

Apparently they had a bitchy, full of projection falling out (including Ape blaming Ville for Bam's bulimia), but if you try and tell me they didn't fuck at least once, you're deluded frand. At the very least Bam sucked a lot of Finnish dick.

Oh wow, I thought Bam was just a huge fan of the band. I didn't know how much of an intimate relationship the two truly had. They even have matching tattoos. You're definitely right that these two fucked, for crying out loud he's got the HIM Logo above his dick.

Man, I did a search on Bam about a year ago because he'd popped into my head randomly, and SHEESH was I sad for him then. I used to watch Viva La Bam and that show that followed the planning of his first wedding, and I thought he was a bit douche-y, but still cute and funny. I just watched that VICE doc and I'm still blown away that as bad as he looks there, man, now he's even worse. It's got me all in my feels.

I remember watching some (paparazzi?) vid after Dunn died, and Bam was at the crash site, the way he was wailing I felt dirty watching. The pain and abject sorrow on his face, watching his heart rend itself into a million pieces, I started talking to my computer monitor like a moron. "Stop filming, be a fucking human being and stop filming!" I had to turn it off, I couldn't take it. I'm pretty certain it was that exact moment that I lost any and all interest in tabloid style "entertainment". To see him like this, it just feels bad. I was really hoping he was doing better.
