In fact staging or trying to get the car to “be stolen” because he fucked it up and didn’t want to pay all the fees required upon its return would be as reasonable an explanation as getting jacked trying to buy drugs. Insurance will cover “theft” but it usually doesn’t cover you fucking up the interiors and trashing the car.

It’s amazing the lengths companies will go to to enable and hide addiction and/or terrible behavior when one is profitable enough, production is already rolling or ratings are good.

Bam just didn’t realize he was easily replaceable, and then not marketable at all once he got old and fat. The reckless bad boy schtick only works if you are under 30 and fairly attractive or talented.
