The sober living guys who interviewed Bam a while back dropped part 2 of their interview. I am pretty sure it’s recent because after talking about Dicamillo he talks about the jackass 4 drama. Only watched the first five minutes or so. Both parts posted below:
Part 1, posted six months ago:
Part 2 dropped today:
And a comment from the Reddit group following Bam:

What legal trouble could he be in that makes treatment legally mandated? That implies criminal charges. Is anyone aware of any criminal charges hanging over his head?

I wonder if it’s just face saving BS on Bam’s part. I still think he’s personally near broke at this point and maybe his parents told him they wouldn’t keep funding him or managing his remaining business deals unless he went to rehab for minimum of six months. The only way he’d be there unwillingly is either jail or using money as a leverage.

There could have been charges stemming from his Florida Man adventure or following the stripper to Arizona, it could’ve been assault from the fight in the front yard or drugs or literally anything; the thing is Bam is still a minor celebrity so time in rehab in lieu of jail time is totally possible.

Oh, sure, but with all the eyes that have been following his misadventures the last year I figure any actual arrest would have been reported. Clickbait sites love mugshots. I mean even just the restraining order against him made the news and arrest would have got even more attention.

I’m sure he could easily get rehab in lieu of jail, celebrity or no. They’ve got entire court systems (drug courts) dedicated to just that, getting addicts into treatment instead of jail.

could it be a family court thing?
Do you actually think Bam would stay in rehab for months just to see a toddler who he stated he had to get the fuck away from because his crying was too damn irritating?

I think just getting Bam to spend any time with the kid, that didn’t involve photo ops for IG, was a bit of a challenge. He seemed to resent Phoenix for taking up too much of his groupie wife’s attention. He also liked to blame his premature ejaculation issue on his kid, which was super classy.

May've even been something that Bam plead out of / negotiated w/Tremaine's lawyers that instead of potential jail time with criminal threats, rehab was necessary - "I don't press charges, you go to rehab and we sew up a order of protection for 3 years"
I’m not sure Bam would be that stupid, but maybe?

The only person who can press criminal charges against Bam for that shit is the LA district attorney and I figure Bam would know that. Tremaine could have told Bam they were going to file a report if he didn’t go to rehab, but that doesn’t have much teeth. He didn’t care they filed for a RO.

What Bam did was fucked up but given how many idiots send threats via text the jails would be over run if that got criminally charged for that. I don’t think the LA DA would bother with criminal charges over some angry texts from a guy pissed off over getting fired from a movie.

Maybe Tremaine's lawyers were able to put him on mandatory rehab to avoid having him do something stupid on the way to the release of jackass 4

Yeah, I highly doubt that this is court mandated. Unless it's some long overreach from some of his previous run ins with the law. Maybe it has something to do with the restraining order the director put out against him.

My honest guess is that if his parents didn't force him to go, then he probably received some sort of intervention from his friends and family that we don't know about. His actions over the past six months have drawn too much publicity to be ignored.

Lawyers can’t put you in mandatory rehab. Only a court/judge can do that and that’s only if you have criminal indictments/convictions. I’m sure lawyers wish they had that power, Trump would have had half the politicians in the country thrown in rehab if so.

The only way someone can be “forced” into rehab is that’s the option they chose to avoid jail.

His parents can’t force him, good lord knows they’ve tried for a decade plus to keep his ass in a rehab for more than a few days. He’s had at least a dozen “going to treatment” arcs over the last 15 years, and that’s only what’s publicly commented upon, so it’s probably double that. He always bails after a few days.

His attempt to get included in the Jackass film was the most compliant he’s ever been in any type of treatment/therapy. He seemed to at least pretend to cooperate with some psychiatrists and therapists for a few months.

Bam’s family and friends have tried everything to get him to go to rehab and stay over the years. Even the carrot of being in a movie he was desperate to do and needed the money/exposure from, didn’t work. So what finally got him to go, stay and keep his mouth shut? (I mean at least for a month so far which might be a real record for him)

What sword of Damocles did they finally get over his head? Bam isn’t known for giving a fuck about consequences for his bad decisions so it must have him scared shitless. Maybe his wife went off the reservation and is threatening to go nuclear? But if he’s not clean his family isn’t going to help and let him be taken to the cleaners? His credit and cash reserves finally hit zero and his parents are going to let him hang in the wind if he doesn’t go to rehab? Idk. I’m not sure if even being dead broke is enough of a threat for Bam because he’s legitimately so fried and mentally ill.

Jail might do the trick - because he would be terrified of doing time but it just seems like there would be some booking photo/arraignment that happened that one could point to as the thing that could give the threat of jail time.

I thought Bam was arrested back in like 2019, then avoided jail by pleading guilty then checking into rehab, or the judge sentenced him to it. (its been a long time since I read up on that so I may be wrong about the last part). So I don't think jail would help him. Its clear he does not want help or is just so far gone that he can't get it. If a 5 million dollar contract was not enough motivation for him to stop destroying his body with drugs and alcohol then I have no idea what is. Maybe him being near death.

If you had told me 10 years ago that Bam would be hitting rock bottom, and Steve-O would have got his shit together then I would have called you a goddamn idiot. Really sad that we live in that reality though.

Yup, this could be the motivator:
I can’t tell what he was actually charged with but he got arrested in a hotel after bailing on the rehab Dr Phil sent him to after three days. He was allowed to leave jail to go back to rehab. The articles originally reported bail a $1k but then he was released into rehab. Since this was just August 2019, and he’s been bouncing in and out of rehab and programs since then, this could still be hanging over his head.

Given that his family was already trying to force him into rehab this arrest might have given them something to work with. They got him released to the rehab within hours - but with strings attached by design/request. Those strings might still be there (esp because Covid basically put the court system for shit like that one hold for a year). Families will try to work use stuff like this to give teeth to going to rehab and staying. I don’t think he stayed in the next rehab very long but he was back in West Chester within months and trying to cooperate with a program to be in the movie.

Unless I am reading the article wrong or something I think his charges were probably disturbing the peace. Sad to hear that even the officers are telling bam to stop acting like an immature asshole and get his shit together.

Well some other articles reference a “fight” but that could just be to make the story sound more interesting. I couldn’t find the exact charge, if it was just disturbing the peace then there’s no way they could use something so insignificant- unless he already had other shit hanging over him, like DUIs

In any normal circumstance it would be a nothing burger. Signature for his bond, pay a fine. But some stories claimed there was $1k bond. Given he just got out of rehab they might have tried to up the ante just to pressure him to get his shit together. Idk. It’s a very small matter but magistrates understand it can be used as some leverage when you are trying to get someone to get help and the friends/family request it.

Who knows. It’s a mystery but I’d love to know what type of leverage finally worked. The gossip and Steve-O have both said it’s got legal teeth to force him into treatment I’m just curious what criminal matter they could use to force it.

By any chance did anyone back up the podcast interview part two? Seems the sober living guys who were clearly interviewing a guy who wasn’t sober and using him for clicks and views decided it didn’t look good and they deleted everything. Odd, considering they even got Bam’s PR people to delete his bio about being a husband and father for shameless shilling:

Now when you click through the links in his bio you get 404’d.
