How does Brazil get along with Portugal?
Can't answer for everyone, but my take on it is 'we like to toot our horn because we can't admit our entire existence is garbage'.

Okay, not to THIS level, but the fact is that Portugal's actions in the global scale are not major and it's essentially an accident that one of their colonies even got to this size. We're talking about a 'major power' that happened to only be relevant to Japan, Angola, Moçambique, Guinea, East Timor, Cape Verde and São Tomé & Príncipe. And Japan kicked them out.

On one hand, maybe it's similar to how the US' relationships with the UK are, except we don't interact much. Portuguese soaps don't come over here and vice-versa, our languages are sufficiently different, and Brasil is too busy alternating between fellating the US and hating it.

Why does all of your porno have buttsex? Is there like a Brazilian version of Nick Bate directing all the movies?
Brasil sells butts. Go figure.

partido monarquista actually tried to exist, sadly it dint got enought support to become oficial.
i dont think its ilegal to have a pro monarquist party.
According to Wikipedia at least, 'in practice', monarchist, nazi and fascist parties are forbidden.

And guys,i will answer more question when i get home from school.
Sorry for autistic english,i was using a tablet.

Are anti-jewish sentiments common in Brazil?
Not particularly. To a degree, it probably is, because Brasil officially supported Ahmadinejad in an attempt to get more political clout with everyone else, but I wouldn't say they're particularly common.

In contrast, there sure is a lot of pro-Muslim sentiment nowadays, between mosques being surprisingly common and the amount of people joining ISIS.

Sorry, du, but it did. Let's just say it's part of why I bothered replying to this thread.

I've heard from other Brazilian friends that the only worthwhile places to visit are São Paulo and Manaus. The rest of the country, they said, was populated by filth and crime committed by people too obnoxious to notice anything wrong. Especially Rio de Janeiro.

Are those sentiments shared?

Be still my heart :heart-full:
Brazil's beauty model is wide hips+large ass
and i mean large, with big silicon bewbs and now the ''cavala''(female horse, because of the big calfs) model is now standard, where women now use whey and do a lot of exercise to mantain a firm ass.

The best place to visit is anything but são paulo and rio, except if you can speak portuguese very well, know the crime areas, and travel with brazilian friends.
the most liberal capitals to live are porto alegre and florianópolis.
Both are small compared to sao paulo and rio,but are much better(especially florianopolis) to a american to visit.
florianopolis.jpg

Floripa is the island on the top.
It is the 2nd most visited place by foreign tourists.
Porto alegre has also a very nice 19th architecture.

But this is my opinion from personal experience, just like people say that NY is a crap place to live, other will tell different opinions.
But my sister lives in florianopolis and she has a lot of friends which have american and canadian friends/roommates living in florianopolis.

Interesting. No comment on Manaus, though?

Manaus has some very excellent 19th architecture

This theatre was build when the rubber prices soared up and there was a gigantic production in amazon.
Sadly the british stole our latex tree seeds and created a large scale plantation in asia, bankrupting the amazon economy for decades.
This has made the Brazilian government really paranoid about biopiracy.
I don't have a opinion in manaus,i never really visited nor made any research about it.
But you are going to probably visit the zoo,the old architecture mentioned above and probably going to set up a tour of the amazon jungle.
Just make sure to prepare for any eventual dengue or malaria fever, which are extremely common in the region.
also try to never use the SUS,or public health system,it sucks really bad even if you get privileged treatment because dying foreigners in hospitals are bad for international relations.
try to get a travel health insurance instead.

I see.

Next question: If you could move to Colombia, with no consequences, would you?

Meanwhile the socialist goverment is financing a large port on cuba, while our own ports rotten away

feel you brah, here in venezuela we are still the whores of cuba, even when those fuckers backstabbed us making pacts with USA

Not colombia, but Chile or Uruguay would be my choices.

any country not affiliated with the ALBA is a good choice
