But now another tuber is adding to the (already tired) genre of "A Brief Look" with "A Brief Look at Harry Potter" by none other than Gutian / Will Simpson (now trooned out and adopted a fake name of Lily Simpson). He made the video exactly 10 hours long. I shit you not.

What would you guys say is the most lolcowish thing to be said by a breadtuber? For me it’s when Sam Seder kept using the phrase “buckets of cum” after Destiny used the term in a debate with him about the Rittenhouse situation where Destiny stated that if Kyle was black and killing Right wingers that Sam would defend him to the end.
 
I keep hearing that breadtube is on the decline from elsewhere but is that really true? Does anyone have any evidence to show that breadtube is on the decline?

No but it died off rather quickly a while ago. We can probably check socialblade and see when the decline started. The only ones who survived were twitch commentators like vaush but they seem to be more breadtube-adjacent if we are comparing to Contrapoints. Contrapoints' content is a lot more thought out than a beverly hills fuckup whining about republicans and creating "hot takes" for attention.

The best part is they will rant and rave that the YouTube algorithm is set up against them because their 4 hour video on how Star Wars the cartoon proves capitalism is bad (along with the constant commercial interruptions for PragerU), won't go viral.

Despite artificial growth, algorithm manipulation and etc... There seems to be more of an organic market on YouTube that is going for kosher conservative content then bread tube despite Breadtube being artificially inflated in the algorithm.
Much of this is due to the fact most of them have gone into niche channels. Think the Armchair urbanist/not just bikes as some examples.
Others have found more success in other ventures then politics because apparently no one wants to go to YouTube for content they can see on CNN.

Generally speaking right wing content creators are being shafted every chance they get and somehow still push through the bullshit. But left wing commentators are just so boring that even when promoted they won't go viral sadly.

No one wants to sit and watch left or right wing content. I refuse to believe there is a person that can sit through a PragerU video but can't handle a breadtube video. It's two sides of the same shit coin.

The algorithm is about selling advertising dollars.

You want to make real money at YouTube, then make cute cat videos.

The fact that many leftists, like Thot Slime, Jim Sterling, or Guillaume Labelle earn more on patreon than many blue-collar workers make in a year is proof that the algorithms on various social media platforms are tilted in their favor.

There's no possible way that these people could have gotten others to fund their boring, sanctimonous priestcraft without big tech giving them an artificial boost.

Tho let's be honest, it's also the perfect rebuttal of the labor theory of value.

I'm fine with them making money directly from supporters via Patreon. What is utterly hypocritical is having these streams maxed out on commercial breaks, all the while rambling that capitalism is evil.

As if under a centrally planned economy, enough excess capital would be generated to support YouTube neets.

The "Leftists Cooks" have an unintentionally hilarious video where they lay out the argument that YouTube should stop being run under capitalist means.

I don't think these idiots understand how servers work and why YouTube consumes the energy of a mid-size country every month.

They also love to complain about said ads on their videos being PragerU Ads. Without realizing that A) they are taking money from their enemy. 2) PragerU has deradicalized more people than Breadtube ever could (Breadtube has deradicalized zero because watching Ben Shapiro and Crowder does not cause one to end up at NJP/TRS. The viewers have to find their own way to the far right.

Also that would be a hilarious campaign since Breadtube went all in against Crypto because of server farms consuming energy.

People do want to hear weird obscure politics it's just there is other right wing people besides Prager U which for all intensive purposes is a kosher conservative channel and not an obscure of cool right wing channel.

Not to mention that they don't realize that if they got their wish and YouTube were run the "communist" way, that would cut their supply of money off and force them to either move back to their parents house, or learn to mine fucking coal like the working class they claim to support.

The YouTube algorithm is not going to spam political videos unless someone starts looking for them. Same with cooking vids, anime, whatever. Users don't respond well to spam.

These content creators, both on the left and the right, expect google to spam users, generate the creators ad money, and at the same time, shield content creators from advertisers and their desire for non-controversial shit.

It's a tale as old as time. Before YouTube, it was TV. Before TV, it was radio and print. The short period of time when ad revenue was good was due solely to the simply that that YouTube ads were so new and advertisers didn't realize immediately how bad the return was for their investment. I know a lot of people blame SJW's for the adpocalypse but the reality is, completely apolitical channels lost just as much as money as everyone else. Advertisers were paying for what they thought were Superbowl commericals, for ads that had the response rate as mailed fliers. Once they figured that out, Youtube was no longer getting the buy rates they once were.

All these people live in a bubble where they think they can make rambling, long ass videos as a long term income source.

I mean that was the main result of it. But beforehand there was algorithm manipulation specifically if you looked for conspiracy videos or political videos you went from seeing weird videos and interesting political views and saw them slowly replaced with a group of approved group think and corporate backed YouTubers.
