While we certainly don't know enough about his personal life (other than the fact that he wasn't joking when he used to call himself "king cuck") to really make a judgement on whether he is "disgusting," the combination of smugness, lack of self awareness, his moralizing and hypocrisy, infuriatingly bad takes on subjects like Kyle Rittenhouse, douchebaggery towards those who try to validate his gender identity, and ability to spout utter bullshit with a straight face does make him alog bait.

Not being as much as a degenerate as Vaush or Xanderthal isn't a high bar.

Sorry to double post but Xanderhal hasn't really exposed himself (yet) as a degenerate. Just that he isn't completely naive when selection for partners and that he has a Mommy GF fetish (due to being raised by a single mother).

wonder what its like to have to decide , after slowly losing engagement for years, that you need to stop your channel, and where you go after basically living a neet life and not working and having no skills for about a decade.

I was trying to write an opinion piece to go along with this strip, but honestly, after a full two days of researching this Hogwarts Legacy controversy/boycott from all of the different angles I could find, reading articles and reddit subs and comment sections… I am simply worn out. I thought my argument would end up being a case of ‘separate the artist from the art,’ but I wasn’t aware the extent of the damage JK Rowling’s comments cause.

And more importantly, I think, I’ve ultimately come to the conclusion that I can’t offer anything of value to this particular discourse one way or another. Like it or not, Hogwarts Legacy, and the act of buying it (or not buying it), is going to be viewed by someone as a stand for something. You will be judged based on your decision to buy it or not buy it.

Not a conclusion I expected to reach about a video game featuring a dorky wizard school, but here we are.

How exactly is he (Tim Buckley) missing the point? You (Gutian Will Simpson) are saying exactly the same thing. Just because it makes you look silly doesn't mean that he's missing anything.

Bit of a sidebar, apparently there's a Simpsons character named Lily Simpson and her fandom page coincidentally references J. K. Rowling in the trivia. Also, fandom fucking sucks holy shit those are some intrusive ads.
