N.K. Jemisin, now there's a blast from the past. Ever wonder why she doesn't call herself Nora Jemison anymore? Because her early writing career, back around the turn of the century, was devoted entirely to yaoi fanfiction of Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho and Bakuretsu Hunter characters. Her original website was called Mirai's World (for Mirai Trunks), but little of her previous fic-writing career seems to have survived online. Eh, in a post-50 Shades of Grey and Steven Universe world (the former starting out as an AU Twilight porn fic and the latter's creator having drawn self-insert fan art for Invader Zim and underage buttfucking of Ed, Edd, and Eddy characters), the fact N.K. Jemisin started out doing freaky fan fic shit isn't all that surprising or shocking IMHO. But if you think she's worthy enough to sustain a thread then hey, go for it.

Back to Wu... has HoskStation said anything yet? Because I'm pretty sure if he doesn't contact Kickstarter's legal department soon, he sure as shit should after this latest September "deadline".

Indeed, the meat of the story is more about her insecurity over her image than her fanfic proclivities. Freaky fanfic writer is passe, but freaky fanfic writer + Streisand spergout could be a fun time.

I have a crystal clear mental image- err, whatever word would be appropriate for audio - of the beginning of that game (where John ripped off the "hey there spacekats" from) with that bizzarre warbly "female" voice Wu uses and the background music.

It's so terrible I actually want to hear it. I do not want to see it, however.

Re Wu crying about Hope Solo. There is a pending criminal investigation on Lochte. He will likely have a ban but you have to wait for the investigation.

Hope Solo has had multiple strikes before this, and specifically was allowed to attend on the promise that she wouldn't embarrass US Soccer. She is reaping what she sowed. Perhaps stealing a US Soccer van and being caught abusing her nephew were bad decisions.
